Yes, it’s very much a misconception that everyone with PCOS is overweight. When I initially went to my doctor she said she would test for pcos but said ‘I already know you don’t have it by looking at you’ (because I wasn’t overweight) and it turned out I did have it🙄

I wasn't overweight, I got diagnosed and it wasn't long after I put on weight and was around 4 stone heavier than I wanted to be. I had been told I would struggle to conceive but at that point kids were not in my plans. I met someone, decided I wanted kids and thought I would try and lose weight before going to the doctor. Lost 3 stone and was pregnant in a month and now 10 years later have a 10 and 8 year old! I realise weightloss isn't easy (it's not for me for sure!) Also it's not always the answer but hope it gives someone some hope 🤗

Only recently, and sorry I was actually 15 when I went to the doctor about not having regular periods and he put me on the pill! (Not sure if they do that now but I wasn’t even sexually active so no idea why he did that? So basically was on and off it all my life came off it for 2 years got pregnant after a year never had a regular period but got pregnant 3 more times after coming off and on it. I’m 40 now and only in the past year my periods are regular so much so I’ve gone back on the pill because I hate them so painful and I feel like I’m always on even tho it’s only for 4 days once a month. I feel like I get period pains the week before. X
 
I don't recall her mentioning PCOS, only that the two of them had been trying to get pregnant and it wasn't happening, I don't think they'd even been together two years at that point, they'd got engaged in the June and were pregnant by the January? I don't know why she couldn't wait until after they were married. Not because I'm old fashioned but I don't understand the desperation, she'd already started planning the wedding by that time!
 
Not even a year. They’d only met the previous NYE if I recall. And with IVF, even going privately immediately you’d be looking at around 3 months end to end as they would need to do some tests first, and then you need to down reg your hormone over a cycle, up reg them again etc, it’s not a quick process.

So she’s effectively started IVF with someone she’s only been with 6-9 months, if that. I can only imagine she’s lied to the clinic about length of relationship and how long they’d been trying as it would be extremely unethical for a clinic to just start IVF without carrying out the various required tests re infertility first (sperm count, egg reserve, check of your tubes, etc) because that usually determines the type of treatment they’d recommend.

I only know because I went private and we went in the September for initial consultation, then had all the tests over the course of a couple of months, (for which nothing was wrong with either of us, other than having been trying for 3 years at that point, so that is just diagnosed as “unexplained infertility) and then we started IVF in the January, and did a transfer in the March. Granted we had the opportunity to start the IVF in the December but decided against it as we thought we’d enjoy Christmas first. But as a private patient that was nearly 5 months end to end.

I think it depends on clinics. My clinic only required a sperm analysis (to decide whether to do ICSI or IVF) and an AMH (to decide the level of hormones). And then allowed to start at the next period, so in theory that could all be done in less than a month depending on whether you’re long/short protocol.

I’ve still not seen her post him or say anything about him since she had the baby, he must not be helping her at all. Especially given the fact she’s paying all this money for someone to have him while she sleeps
 
Just watched her last cooking video when she was still pregnant. How smug she was, saying that of course she'll be back to cooking again very soon once she's back feeling to herself. She had nooo idea what's it's like having a newborn did she. Oh the smugness :D
I guess she'll be cooking again once the "nurse" arrives because she has her upcoming book to promote.

also imagine moving to a whole new country for your bf who is merely a substitute player and is on the field for a maximum of 10 minutes per match. Tbf he earns a duck load of money still but this whole scenario doesn't seem satisfying for either of them.
 
Sorry just butting in here, firstly and most importantly (as a mum of 3) I hope the baby is okay.

However, as someone who used to know Megan VERY well. I would be lying if I said myself and all of her old friends that she has lost over the years aren’t all enjoying watching this car crash! Because we are.

How’s the fairy tale now Megan? Still think you’re better than the rest of us?

Summary on mental megs and she is still mental.

•Little sister Milly, lovely. Hard worker nice girl.
•Middle brother Harry. Trouble when he was younger, had a coke problem. Now sober and enjoying being a dad. Got his own business, even though he was trouble always been polite.
•Daisy the dog. Was a family dog. ‘Megan got her for her birthday’ but she was a child still living at home and Daisy was the family’s dog hence she’s with her mum.
•Mum Tanya always very warm and welcoming. She’s a florist. Very proud mum.
•Dad Dave also nice but very much an Alpha Male had his own business but not sure what he’s doing now. He tried to run Megan’s restaurant years ago.
•Dave and Tanya split up few years ago, but not sure why. House was sold etc.

Normal family growing up, Megan was a show off. Went to the local secondary school where she was not popular at all. She fell off a science stool once and her tooth went through her lip. She left not long after and went to full time stage school.

She went on BGT and then not much came of it other than performing at a local brownies and guides event.

She worked in a local bar/club called NuBar which was coke head central where she got fired from for bottling her ex boyfriend whilst working behind the bar.

She then worked in the local sunbed shop which was also a cover up for a drug dealer. And she would parade her at the time boyfriend Jordan Davies in there …this was before ex on the beach aired so she will still a ‘nobody’

Then Megan exploded onto the tv on ex on the beach. Her dad was LIVID and didn’t talk to her. He was not happy she was lowering herself to that level. He was not proud especially of the on screen shagging!!

Anyway she was then just fame hungry and done anything to be relevant. In fairness she did always want to be a singer and her parents spent a fortune to help her. The signing thing is the most genuine part about her and she has always been very very skinny. When she was younger she did spend a lot of time in hospital and missed a lot of school.

She doesn’t have any friends. She’s not friends with anyone from either school she went too. All her teenager and young adult friends gone. She is so mememe she pushes everyone away. She genuinely thinks she’s better than everyone else.

Anyway. Pissing myself laughing at all her pregnancy/ baby content. Parking myself here for the foreseeable.
