I'm not sure what people used to believe all these bloggers/influencers/whatevers did with their time? Idk, to me it's always been pretty obvious that outfit photos was the bulk of what they do along with their social media accounts?

I think that's why a lot still freelance. Like Chloe Plumstead or Francesca Perks or Charlotte Jacklin who have other jobs alongside Insta. Like some do actual modelling or marketing or social media or editing for others. Or even the Insta bloggers who run podcasts on various topics.

Although I suppose Megan has her clothing brand 🙄

I think it was more to do with Megan’s life in general, she really sold that larger than life, going out with friends, amazing house, events, pr trips, press holidays, perfect boyfriend lifestyle if that makes sense? :) xx

Yeah, I do think it seems her life has quietened down in that way.
Loads of people in this thread and the last one pointed out how many bloggers she used to be friendly with that she isn't now. I don't think she has many friends to socialise with in fhe blogging or real life world. They don't even seem to go for nights out at jimmys much anymore (pre lockdown obv)
 
Hello! Long time lurker here.

I think Megan and George were definitely due to be married at Grantley Hall. I remember when they were first engaged she spoke about going to look at venues in Yorkshire. Also, I'm sure that first weekend in August (when they went for their staycation) was supposed to be their wedding day. I vaguely remember her saying they'd booked their "dream date" which would obv be their anniversary weekend. It would make sense that they went away for the weekend to mark the occasion that would have been their wedding.

Also, that would make their wedding exactly one week after Bee and Jimmy's wedding. Lol.

What do we think of the wedding shoes she posted today?

I always pictured them getting married in some rock n roll vibe venue, rather than a stately hall. Doesn't seem very "them" to me.

I used to love Megan's vlogs, it was nice getting an insight into her fun life. I do think that removing her boyfriend, friends, family, nights out, house, dogs, etc is a bad move – business wise – because that was really what a lot of us enjoyed the most. I used to like her fashion but it's not for me at all these days, so unfortunately I am losing interest.
 
The wedding shoes are hideous, she is trying so bloody hard. I wonder how much she paid for them? I could make an origami piece and glue it onto some stilettos and they'd look the same...wonder if I could sell them for hundreds 🙄🤣

Also in regards to getting married at a stately home it doesnt shock me, shes from a privileged background, she's not always been this try hard quirky indie cindy, it makes sense with her and her familys roots to have it at a big manor as opposed to an old hipster/industrial barn layout...its more her anyway, she isn't what she portrays 🤣

I'm also gonna add, I'm SICK TO DEATH of clicking on ads megan posts about clothes because i love them and I'm looking to buy them then i see the sizes on their websites and they dont go over a size 10.
It makes me feel disgusting and like i can never look as good as megan will in this style of clothes.

Its so hard to find 70s inspired/nordic/ peasant dresses etc in sizes over 12 and she refuses to post any brands that do....says it all really.

The family isn't that wealthy? They certainly think they're from more wealth than they actually are. I'm not saying she isn't privileged, she absolutely is. But her family is fairly average. She is just still doing that thing where she tries to convince people she's a more extreme version of herself. Making out like they're all a lot wealthier than they actually are.

She's so vapid these days. Massive mistake removing all aspects of her life from her online presence.

Yeah, I've always found Diana's Instagram posts and stories quite nauseating. Maybe it's the introvert in me because she's so loud and extroverted.

I used to really dislike her on SM, and when I loved Megan and thought she was amazing, often thought "god, I bet George is glad he's with someone more down to earth and chilled". Now I just think you'd have to be pretty arrogant/a bit of an hole yourself to go out with someone like George in the first place.
 
They seriously infuriate me. The fact none of them girls can keep any mates says it all...also the fact megan doesnt even follow her future sis in law...weird. deleting any comments to do with disgusting George...they cover up so much. Dodgy af. They all seem like wrong uns

Her wedding shoes are awful, I thought she would go with something classier for her own wedding, like those lovely Miu Miu slingbacks she owns - black patent material in a classic shape, with a gingham bow for a quirky Megan element. Not bright neon pink bow shoes...

I think she'll be after new ones for sure, buy them herself though, i doubt it.

That’s the brands fault for not catering to a greater range of sizes surely, not Megan’s fault
