shes looking for sex from her supposed husband,shes not goosing other men or grabbing their bits. when she asked him if he fancied her,he should have said,no love i dont and then they both leave,hes giving her false hope and we dont know what happens out of shot or what he says. his reaction to her on the couch was horrible, and him saying that about the " M" at the restuarant was a complete shock to her by her face, i think he twisted something there. i think hes gaslighting her. if it was the other way around and he was pestering her, i would say the same say" NO,i dont fancy you (or want you ) call it a day and go your seperate ways" i dont really like either of them, shes too needy and hes too shifty

I agree. He was deliberately horrible to her because he could. He’s totally negging her and humiliating her. Gemma’s already made a fool of herself and now he’s exploiting it to make himself the ‘victim’. The storming off the dinner party drama that he created. Horrible attention seeking abusive man.

I think it was very telling what the real problem is- ‘made him think about what kind of woman she’s like outside the show’ ie- the shagging and eating comment as her hobbies:
Matt clearly seees Gemma as spoiled goods vulgar and uncouth: So leave.



FYI - Gemma’s behavior is embarrassing and disgusting and I’m not defending it.

Struggling a bit with what Gemma is saying in her instastories. She is mega pissed off with him saying it's the edit and he was as bad as her etc etc - but at the dinner party she tried to kiss him loads, went on and on about how fit he was and what great company he was - so it doesn't ring true that she was pissed off at him at the time. Feels like she's angry now so trying to act like he was awful then.

It's so obvious that she has given him the massive ick and he cringes when she's OTT with the praise and affection.

As an aside I think he's awful, hate the way he talks about her and the storming off - but at the time of filming she was def into him and he wasn't in to her.

Yeah but this isn’t a normal marriage, they’ve known eachother a week(ish)? I agree that he is probably giving her some false hope by not telling her he isn’t interested, but he is rejected her every advance and has asked for space numerous times and she keeps feeling his leg and asking for cuddles. It’s actually uncomfortable to watch.

Omg, it’s like a dish outta the Chinese with salt and chilli chips, salt and chilli chicken, chicken balls, peppers, chillis, fried onions, loadsa spices and a big tub of curry sauce. It’s unbelievable. I think it’s defo an Irish thing lol

no it does not, but you are suppose to do it at least once to be a marriage,other wise your just mates,friends or aqquantices. would be interesting to know how long is customary( to be constumated), with an arranged marriage, by some cultures,as they too, sometimes only meet on the day of the wedding. anyone know ?
