This was filmed months ago so I hope the programme have atleast given her some proper aftercare therapy to address these issues. She seems like a really lovely person underneath all the sexual innuendos it’s like a massive wall to hide her biggest insecurities I wonder if they dive into her upbringing on the show because that women who she calls her mum seems more like a friend.

She’s too much with the sex chat and clearly has issues but I don’t like him at all. Something very off with him and I think he’s mostly acting out because she’s not his type physically and he didn’t get what he ordered.

Ps how is that tattooed guy getting that pattern in his hair? I didn’t even know hair could have a shredded wheat pattern. How?!

I noticed this!! I cringed at Gemma’s behaviour but I can’t believe he made such a big deal about her making sexual innuendos and then at the end he made one to her…I’ve met men like that before.

i thought they married for real,what is the point of the program then ?, bloody programs called "married at first sight", its just a version of love island for oldies and undatables then really. i just wish i wasnt bloody invested in it though !:ROFLMAO:

I only know because that Geordie woman from last series said it’s not legally binding, because she hated her husband! 😂

I don’t think he fancies her at all. But she’s put him on such a pedestal and she’s taking him not wanting to sleep with her as massive rejection. You can see how cold he is being is hurting her and I think at this point she’s desperate for him to show he wants her or at least finds her attractive and that’s why she’s coming out with these remarks all the time. Like any attention, good or bad, is better than no attention. It’s sad to watch ☹️

she’s acting really desperate, putting him on a pedestal like you say showering him with compliments all the time and all the sex talk.

I think she’s an pretty girl and he could have found her attractive if she didn’t hand herself on a plate and let him put a bit of graft in.

Definitely. Another red flag is that at the wedding she told him she has 2 kids and his reaction was strange. Cold. He didn't look happy with what she told him.

She’s obviously had a few tweaks here and there but she is absolutely beautiful I hate seeing her beg for his affection it’s so cringe and awkward to watch! Feel like she should have been matched with someone else but who is the question.

oh she is hands down the most beautiful girl on there! I think she would have been suited to George possibly. He has kids too and he craved April’s affection and attention on their honeymoon! I think George and Gem would be quite well suited ❤️

i think matt would be suited to someone in prison, his face tattoos look like a cellmate did them. if none of them are really married,perhaps they should mix them up a bit, gem and richie maybe ? kasia and duka ? or visa virsa, either way,it could be the making of richie :ROFLMAO:

In the earlier series they were actually legally married. They had to know basic details beforehand like names, ages etc. Think they stopped making it legal a couple of series back.
 
The show has evolved for sure! Higher viewing figures means higher financial gain!

Some contestants apply, and there are scouts combing social media. Like with Love Island…they know drama sells!

There should be duty of care though, they had to learn that with Love Island.

It was painful watching Gem yesterday and the rejection from Matt, she is developing feelings for him so she says but I think it’s more the rejection she can’t cope with. Her past has not been a stable one, her mum-figure seems more like her enabling friend.

I hope care is available for contestants, precessional ones and not the weird expert panel.
