Having completed the episode, I've noticed some of you seem to have seem real cognitive dissonance on this sub. Many of you were mortified that Brad told Shona to shut up with a hard tone, even if you acknowledged she was relentless to a degree - yet have no problem and even consider it sexy that Georges switched to French (which I think was actually calculated) to abuse Porscha, call her 'a piece of tit' and to tell people at the table to 'be careful'...or what, exactly.

He is not the social arbiter, the patriarch at a family gathering - who does he think he is to rule with an iron fist over the group?

If Terrance had screamed across a table that Peggy was 'a piece of tit', I'm sure he'd be where Brad is now. I'm so disgusted and tired of women who only see problematic and aggressive tendencies in men when it suits them. The amount of people who called it sexy...just absolute trash.

I don't think Porscha once called him or his wife anything except their names by way of insult - she spoke about their actions, she didn't go into names.

FWIW I don’t like Georges and the French isn’t sexy to me lmao but the wider context and relationship dynamic of Brad and Shona show that he’s clearly abusive. Georges was just rude and insulting to Porscha. I think there’s a big difference. Now if that was Georges speaking to Peggy it would be a different story but him being rude to Porscha in defence of his wife is very different to what Brad has done.

I’m no fan of Porscha - I think she’s a hypocritical drama queen but 100% agree re Georges.

Nathanial mentioned some weeks ago in the press that the Production Team for MAFS had Story ‘nudgers’ who kinda pushed certain narratives on candidates. They encouraged Ella to be insecure for example. Nathanial seemed rather disgusted by the whole process and said arguments were provoked and instigated, aftercare was non-existent.

I can well imagine the happy clappy yoga narrative was pushed on Brad and Shona, as well as him dominating, being bossy, etc. Not saying he is an awesome dude, but he was malleable for sure.

I know what point you're trying to make but comparing brad and georges is like apples and oranges. I'm not a george fan at all (nor am I impressed by the bare minimum from a man) but they are completely different scenarios, contexts and intentions. Brad was verbally attacking shona (and that's without acknowledging the context and dynamic between them) and George was defending his wife.

I’m shocked really as you can’t have good intentions surely if your kissing everybody else

I bet none of them are still together I was rooting for Luke and jay but after he said he kissed Tasha and Porscha I’ve gone of him and shocked jay allowed it . I’m shocked Ross allowed Thomas to snog other girls too

ETA: I've gone off them all too ‐ they're just a bunch of horny teenagers who aren't truly interested in the premise of the show. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised by fame hungry wannabes.

Her intro was about how wacky she was and her friends have to tell her to calm down
Then all honeymoon she was complaining Thomas wasn’t tactile or affectionate
Then she had sex with him just to see if it ignited a spark between then

Luke just said on live he can’t say who Ella cheats with but he said It depends if you class it as cheating … last night he said about Porscha kissing the other lads but failed to say he snogged most the girls too . Apparently jay was fine with him kissing in spin the bottle
