I get what you mean… I was thinking the other day: Wannabe influencers have put a dampener on reality TV.

Casting companies would rather X person with lots of followers going on to boost their follower count than Y person who has 2k but is genuinely interested in the challenge the show presents. I work with a girl who applied for a reality show, she’s a normal, nice funny girl but she got shortlisted and then they declined because she has private SoMe.

Half the time the person with the followers wouldn’t even get them all to watch. I don’t follow any influencers on SoMe but I cannot imagine being that interested in a persons instagram that I would go out of my way to watch them on TV unless it was someone who was already famous like say a footballer or something .

I was thinking the same thing. They want people that will post themselves all over social media while the shows on to boost the viability of the show. Most normal people woulndt be doing endless reels and tik toks and posts so they don't get on

How does she not see the issue with her current hair?! The super dark roots and yellow hair does her no favours. But then she filters herself to the nines so probably has no concept of how she really looks. Its sad honestly.
