I think Jenna and Zoe had a difficult match at first, not just the veganism that was played up but they weren't communicating well (stuff coming out at commitment ceremony etc) and obviously Thomas and Adrian weren't off to a great start either so I can get why you'd be irritated when you do this show and the 'experts' put you with someone who isn't your type, you stick with it (for whatever reason) only for two others to sack their partners off and get together for the final week, telling everyone how they are totes in love.

SPH was supposedly scouted for this show (makes it worse if it turns out those tattoos are neo nazi) and we know the producers love the drama otherwise they would've kicked them off when they left their matches. SPH and Whitney carrying on the way they do, effectively 10 days into their 'relationship' is insulting to the 'process' the show tries to sell. I said before if I was in the couples I'd just be hammering the experts constantly when they tried to tell me anything once they let those two back in. 'The science' said it was alright though :ROFLMAO:

i can totally see it being a situation like that Sky carpentry show that was pulled a while ago after it was revealed that one of the contestants facial tattoos was a neo-nazi symbol that the producers had failed to notice/research. except for the fact that the whole show has now aired, so it will be an awkward situation when C4 have to explain that they scouted a racist, homophobic, sexist neo-nazi to take part in the show. 🤦🏻‍♀️

and based on the "science" which supposedly justified Matt and Whitney staying in the experiment, it was all garbled nonsense, explained away as "well, we looked at the science and you are a match...based on how you are together and how you interact as a couple". that's not based on "science" then, given that the potential for a match was meant to have been ascertained prior to the couples having met, yet with those two it was based on how they were when they were already in a relationship and had spent time together - the "science" bullshit was just an excuse to justify keeping them on the show for the drama.

Sorry for your loss, perhaps 'medicated' was not the correct word, but she seems sedated, maybe even stoned? It's giving quaaludes.

Adrian admitted, in so many words, that he doesn’t fancy Thomas, and he did this late in the game. He’s also not interested in sex. He’s come on the show to find some kind of bland long-term companionship when he KNOWS, and has known since the start, that Thomas wants a proper fiery relationship. Thomas knows he and Adrian weren’t compatible so tried to get out. Adrian however has just strung Thomas along knowing he’d never give him the relationship he wants, but turning on the water works every time the real talk came up. Now I can’t stand Thomas so I don’t actually feel sorry for him, but it’s the principle of it. Adrian, underneath all his niceness and gentleness, is actually quite emotionally manipulative, and Thomas has been a fair bit trapped in this for the risk of upsetting this “such a nice guy” who just seemed to keep wanting Thomas to hang around as a mate when he knew it made Thomas miserable. Thomas never tried to force the kind of relationship he wanted, he just tried to get out of this one that didn’t work for him.

Zoe it’s quite simple. I just don’t like her. She’s got a vibe that gives me the ick.

even as someone who likes adrian, i cannot deny that your post is on point.

he and thomas were just an awful match all around- they’re both not what the other one wants. thomas has just been way more vocal about it.

Yeah I wouldn’t really put Adrian in the “can’t stand” category like Thomas, George etc. He’s an ok guy, but I think the way he’s strung Thomas along is pretty tit, underneath it all. Nice guy, not nice actions. Feel like he’s just as eager to stay on the show (fame) as the others, he’s just nicer about it.
