I think most people know if they want kids or not.

However gay couples are missing some vital components to having kids. So it isn't as easy as let's start trying. They need ro consider if they would do IVF who will carry the baby etc would they adopt etc.

So I understand it is a more complicated decision for gay couples.

Maybe most but not all, Iā€™m 28 and still unsure even though I know ā€˜time is tickingā€™ šŸ™ˆ but yeah agree itā€™s more complicated for gay couples and more decisions to make.

I think part of the issue is if you say you donā€™t want children people say youā€™ll change your mind, or donā€™t rule it out. If you say you want children no-one tries to tell you that. So sometimes itā€™s easier to say youā€™re not sure to avoid outside pressure and judgement. People seem to find it really hard to accept that others might just not want children. And letā€™s face it, itā€™s a massive commitment so you have to be sure!

It's definitely a discussion to have sooner rather than later though.
I know of a couple who didn't have the discussion before getting wed and it almost split them up. There was a compromise and they now have a child, but all is not quite well with the one who didnt want children

I know quite a few people this has happened to.

I donā€™t want children and I canā€™t imagine compromising on that. Fair play to those who can but it does cause resentment.

Thomas is hanging out with Nikita from last season's MAFS. Says it all to me..šŸ˜ÆšŸ˜‚

I lived on the same street at Nikita until a few months ago lol.

I think most people know deep down if they want kids. I was genuinely not sure/bothered but when I met my husband I knew I wanted a family with him, but if I was alone I never would have gone down the route by myself to have kids, so I think if youā€™re with the right person then you pretty soon know how you feel about kids.

omg did you meet Nikita???
