Some of you are going too far the other way with this gatekeeping and it genuinely screams insecurity. You are absolutely right that mainstream beauty standards are problematic and a form of social engineering - for example you rarely see (in Europe, you do elsewhere) more fuller sized women with upper class, 'famous' or elite men - however to say that slim women are not representative of real women is silly. There are entire nations where genetics lead to the majority of the population being slimmer and taller for example.

This is a total strawman argument. Ella is not a real woman because she is genetically male. Slim women, women who've had a tit tonne of surgery - they are still real women because they are genetically female. No one has ever tried to say that naturally slender women aren't women, and I suspect you know that but are being deliberately obtuse in much the same way the TRA that say "HA! So you're saying women who are infertile aren't women?" are being obtuse.

I'm so sick of this bull- most of don't care that Ella is trans, she can be whatever she wants to be. Most of us are pissy that she's essentially been rewarded for doing something crappy. Stop labelling as being something hateful for calling out someone being nasty. If Ella was cis you'd be , no doubt, calling her out too!

If you would call out a cisgender woman for the same behaviour how is then transphobic when applied to Ella?

This is what a lot of people (Inc me) who are 'gender critical' actually understand but get slated for and feel we can't air our real views because we'll get slated for being transphobic. I know this goes wildly off topic but it's a good chance to state that one of the reasons the big gender clinic in England, the Tavistock, got shut down is they were prescribing vulnerable teens (mostly girls) hormones after a single appointment and when they were asked they had zero records to show how many of their patients and a mental health comorbidity, how many were autistic...hormones were given to teens at the drop of a hat. And if (like me) you've had a high school aged kid in recent years you see the way it's become a social contagion amongst the same kind of girls who in my years at school probably would have been anorexic :( and then yes, on the different end of teh spectrum you have autogynophiliacs, men who get off on wearing women's clothes...and now we have to accept these people in our spaces because 'I'm a woman' comes with zero caveats

I don't think that (criticism of Ella's behaviour) is what anyone is saying is transphobic. Because that's not. I think she's crass/crude. It's more the type of comments about rot pockets/poo smelling genitals etc... That's grim and nothing to do with her behaviour.

I agree - if you're going to have a Grealish haircut, you need to wear the headband, he constantly looks like he's just taken the headband off and it's weird!

This whole thing about Ella being a 'naturally slim woman' is BS though, she's just skinny with bolt ons and half a bottle of baby oil and anyone wrapped up in influencer / 'online content' culture is brainwashed to think that it's a 'nice figure' thats not a natural slim woman body though (not getting into a trans argument here whatsoever) it's a caricature surgery body. Regardless of whether you find that look attractive - each to their own - the large majority of her behaviour is still off. As I said before though, I do think she handled herself well with the sh!tstirrers when she came back - a bit of class goes a long way and if her nip hadn't been winking at me the whole time, it would have almost been dignified.

Someone literally made a similar comment about Tasha looking like she had a smelly vag not long ago on here and I didn’t see any of you TRA lot going for that poster, yet it’s a fact that surgically constructed vaginas like Ella’s smell horrible.
