Just managed to catch up, apologies if youā€™ve got a notification that I ā€˜likedā€™ something from 4 days ago.

Bianca handled everything so well, really put JJ and Ella in their place. There were so many annoying things about that dinner party but the pedant in me was especially frustrated at someone saying ā€˜vice-a versaā€™. Itā€™s not the first time and it really grates on me.

Anyone know what version of Wicked Games is playing on the Made in Chelsea advert during every break? Itā€™s been driving me mad.

Producers set up so much. They mostly donā€™t literally put words in mouths (although JJ and Ella had their script about meeting in social situations obviously) but they suggest conversations they know will cause a row, get people to make speeches, create storylines from editing or even make them happen. Weā€™d be really naive not to think weā€™re being played when we watch this show.

I assume most of the contestants are probably annoying enough to merit some of it but anyone could be edited into a baddie with enough effort when filmed in these situations I reckon.

The editing is frequently dreadful too. You can see from things eaten/drunk or time of day or even background detail that weā€™re seeing conversations completely out of sequence, or reshot.

yes ,you can see the bad editing. at one stage tasha followed ella out and the next shot,tasha was sitting down etc., its the drama that brings the viewers and the viewers bring the ratings, repeat and repeat. my worry over the situation that happened, was if Bianca had gone down the other route, it could have been so very different. they brought in extra security so they were expecting fireworks and maybe even fighting, but what if Bianca's mental health had affected her in a diffent way and she tried to top herself over the embarrassment. all of them knew about ella and jj, you can bet that the girls have all asked her how jj and her were progressing etc., at various times, fully knowing what jj was up to. she would have been oblivious and trying to be loyal to him, saying how great he and things were. she would have been feeling upset and betrayed by jj,ella AND all the others,maybe thats why liz truss went back to the table, she would have wanted to think things out on her own , as she knew she was the only person she could trust at that stage. i think that suris black quote was (unfortually) picked just because it fitted the situation of how she felt at the time, if she had wanted to be transphobic, there is a lot she could have said at the table ,because she slayed them,both looked shocked and uncomfitable.
 
I'm not really qualified to make such a bold statement having only just started watching MAFS but the Australian version is far better than ours! I think they have a better mix of loveable characters alongside the fame hungry fake wannabes and then of course the complete psychos! (Innes).

I'm comparing our current version to MAFS Australia 6.

Really enjoying it so thanks to those who suggested it ā¤

Only that series is worth watching, and season 5 is ok but I canā€™t get into the rest
 
Anyone else watched seven year switch Oz on all 4? Iā€™ve just started it and itā€™s entertaining to say the least none of them should be together šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
