I think he was probably very nice before he got involved with Martha (and deep down probably still is) but he's allowed her to spoil his sweet nature. I think he was simply chilled and laid back but then started becoming complicit with Martha's nasty behaviour, not wanting to disagree with her and therefore going along with it all, but by not speaking out he's let himself down.

She's a selfish, nasty, controlling piece of work and a bad influence on him but he's a grown up and chose to stick with her.

Ooh....just seen that Jules & Cam are being featured on This Morning today at 10.45am.

Jessika said she had reason to suspect Cam and Jules knew each other before the "experiment" and entered as a couple. That's as far as I read and I'm sure it's nonsense but I'd like to hear their take on it too!

That's a good point! How could I forget about him going along with knowing about Jess and Dan 😯

Begrudgingly I must agree with you there. It was unusual but in a good way.

But....something about the rural setting and seeing pony-tailed Michael walking up that hill just reminded me of Brokeback Mountain! 🤷‍♀️

I agree madness!! She comes across as a bit of dick on Instagram still..

She is another one who looks completely different since the show. I have put it in a spoiler incase no ones looked.

Mark and Ning were never going to last. Lets not forget how utterly disappointed Ning was when she saw Mark for the first time. How she made out he was creepy. How she tried to ‘block’ him out at the wedding meal. How she wouldn’t even let him get near her for the first few weeks. How she said she didn’t want him near her in the swimming pool on their honeymoon. None of this was because she was ‘scared’ or ‘protective’, he was not her type and she didn’t hide it.

They kind of grew fond of each other over time and she stopped being awful, but that isn’t exactly enough for a relationship.

Ning admitted she wasn’t attracted to Mark in the final ceremony but wanted to ‘give it a go’ anyway. I agree with Mark, whatever they felt was not enough for a relationship.

I felt worse for Mark, it is not easy to hurt somebody you’ve grown fond of.

With Mike and Heidi - he gaslights her, no doubt about it.

Gaslighting is basically making somebody question reality as they know it (denying something was said, denying known events happened, trivialising their feelings or concerns as not as important as they think).

With Martha and Michael, she’s a controlling bully, but I haven’t seen any evidence she gaslights him.

Sorry to go back to this from a few pages - I am a day behind and will be catching up on last night's ep tonight - I am also a new tattler so go easy. Anyway...when Dan let slip at the dinner party that he was Facetiming his son and Jess mentioned "he's so smart, he can count to 50 in Chinese (I think I caught that right!). Surely Dan's Mum or another family member would have been with the son on Facetime? I can't imagine his ex would be there, happily chatting to Dan's new 'wife'.

Does anyone think that their families surely must know more than what they let on when the home stays etc. happen?

Again Jess seems very close with her Sister and would presumably have been updating her since mentioning to her on the home stay about Dan. Plus Jess is always on her phone - as pointed out by Mick and Mike. Yet her Sister allegedly didn't know how things had progressed between her and Dan.

I think there is soooo much more that goes on behind the scenes - after the girls/boys nights out and the dinner parties presumably a few of them stick around and go to the residence bar and aren't filming & consume even more alcohol. Also I would say a couple of them are smokers - again presumably they go outside to smoke during filming the dinner parties, producers keep an eye out and they have to re-film what was said.

I remember hearing from former Love Island contestants who said a producer would ALWAYS be present during smoking breaks and they would have to re-film conversations that took place off camera. Just a couple of random thoughts/observations from me!
