I do like her but I do agree with you about how quickly we forgot what a pain she was in the beginning. She made him very uncomfortable in the early days and she was just batshit at the wedding.
Does anyone ever go back and rewatch the early episodes with the knowledge of how it turns out? I don't mean going back and watching old series, I mean earlier episodes of the one you're currently watching? I can't be arsed but I think it would be interesting. I'd love to know how much of my opinion was caused by the edit of the programme.

That honeymoon and afterwards was just painful to watch. I would not be friends with either but she was just so awful to him and kept criticising him and criticising him. I honestly could not watch it again!
