I know people weren’t happy with Al wanting her to stay to like get her back but it did him the world of good cos actually it made him grow up a bit and see Samantha’s side. He has had some growth in this journey and it’ll probably teach him a lot moving forward! Especially when you consider the friends he’s made like Brent and Jack maybe will be able to give him guidance in the future
