Correct me if I’m wrong but didn't Ollie break up with Gareth when they first dated like 5 years ago on MIC. Then Gareth had dark hair. Ollie told everyone he was clingy, needy etc. But said to him I need to be on my own for a while. He left him at a cafe begging. Or I’m not sure if it was another guy that looks similar

I have to be honest, I think Ollie Locke feels more antiquated and peripheral with every new season but he can't bring himself to bite the bullet and let go in case he is entirely unable to find any relevance again. I sense a sort of grudging, moody unhappiness in most of his appearances - and he and his husband film with only a few other cast members consistently.

He also looks quite dated. The scene of him in the bar in Episode 2 in the leather jacket with the shearling collar. It radiated 2010.

It’s peak observations such as these why I love MIC & this accompanying thread haha

He did try to do other things but they didn’t really take off so he went back to mic :) don’t see why, he comes off as honest, intelligent and entertaining to me :)
 
Yeah seeing how long ago the Ollie thing was did make me think Emma must be quite old now (in comparison to the current cast) and in close-ups you could kinda tell. Why is she eyeing Tristan so blatantly all the time?! I feel like the producers must’ve had a hand in this Ollie-Emma beef because it’s so embarrassing; it was SIX years ago, you’re happily married and you’re not even into women anymore - why do you care???

I think some cast members for sure use the show like a dating app. They suddenly appear back when they’re single because they know they’ll meet people and be set up on dates. Tabitha for sure is just there to find a man. I can’t believe she everything got with Miles she just seems not his type at all.

Sam Prince was the stuff of nightmares full on leering at Maeva when he could tell she was upset. He was asking for it really.

I think I can remember the guy you're talking about... but I cant decide myself whether or not that was Gareth. There is an episode where Ollie is taking pictures half naked around a tree and he's telling Binky he doesn't think they're right together, but in the next scene said guy (possibly Gareth) is saying that he's never been happier etc? I only watched the episode not long ago, its stuck in my mind because it made my cringe haha

If this is the guy you're thinking of he was called Nick, hence the 'Nollie'.
