On another note, I absolutely love Paris. She is so elegant and classy. Even in the preview, she presents as calm and in control with Angus and inga.

I agree I’m really starting to like Paris, she’s so sweet.

Ollie is lovely but there is something about Gareth I don't trust and that Sainsburys line ! I also think they were being very dramatic and spoilt in their reaction to the surrogacy not working, surely that's a very likely event to be prepared for . Its like they ( Gareth more) have just been so used to getting what they want instantly.

I completely agree. One unsuccessful attempt at IVF and they’re crying and acting like they have lost a baby. Some people out there have genuinely lost children or have had traumatic miscarriages. I just thought it was all an overreaction and very spoilt.

I completely agree. One unsuccessful attempt at IVF and they’re crying and acting like they have lost a baby. Some people out there have genuinely lost children or have had traumatic miscarriages. I just thought it was all an overreaction and very spoilt.

Not just the financial aspect of the ivf being unsuccessful but I bet it’s upsetting when you have your heart set on something and it doesn’t happen as you thought it would. Aswell as being gay men trying to make this happen and how they have to go about it just to having something that a lot of us can do easily without spending 10s of thousands too.
I actually felt so sorry for them. I think days become longer when you’re hoping for a pregnancy, it can consume your life.

Not just the financial aspect of the ivf being unsuccessful but I bet it’s upsetting when you have your heart set on something and it doesn’t happen as you thought it would. But having had experiences of child loss and miscarriage I can’t understand how they could sob like that after their first attempt and there was no valid pregnancy ever in existence. Just a bit of an overreaction to me. However you are probably looking at it a bit more kindly than I am. It’s just that’s how I personally see it.

I do understand your point, they both come from privileged backgrounds too so probably aren’t used to things not going their way either. But I did feel sorry for them. Hopefully it’ll work out for them and they do manage to have a child.

Ollie and Gareth are entitled boring bratty snobs who believe money and status can afford them as they so desire. Ollie didn’t want children last series! I hate them, wish they’d leave the show - they are promoting something which is unethical by their standards and do not deserve what they are apparently fighting for.

The bit that made me cringe when they were talking about how their dog was good practice for having a a baby. They have absolutely no idea how hard it is going to be raising a child, I have had dogs and I have had babies and the two do not compare at all. They are in for one hell of a shock when they have to spend night after night not sleeping, feeding, cleaning up poop and sick and never being able to go out socialising. It’s all sunshine and rainbows in their eyes.

I had 4 failed rounds of IVF and I can honestly say it half killed me, to go through all of that and end up with nothing, it’s soul destroying.

Thank you, sorry I should have added to that, I got pregnant naturally and totally unexpectedly with a new parter so I now have my little boy who’s 2 and amazing. I definitely think the stress of failed IVF was a one of the big factors in my marriage break up though. I felt for the surrogate, Olly and Gareth, it’s very sad. Thanks for your kindness

I am going to add my thoughts on the surrogacy storyline. I understand why they were upset but I also think they will have to toughen up a bit. Like others have said, they come from privileged backgrounds. And they are also lucky as men that they will not have to experience the toll that IVF and pregnancy can take on the body. I know surrogates are paid/adhere by contracts and everything but that doesn't negate the fact that those who pay for such services are usually coming from positions of privilege and power over those who have limited options and therefore may choose this to make some money.

I highly doubt Ollie or Gareth have been introspective about how it can be to carry a child for 9 months and possibly (if it does happen) have to suppress all connections and feeling you have towards the baby. They seem sweet enough but not terribly deep about a lot of things.

There is something that doesn't sit right with me for a lot of rich and privileged people using this option and essentially showing very little regard for the surrogate's humanity and feeling. They are basically reduced to a vessel for a lot of people using such services. Hopefully, Ollie and Gareth are more mindful.

I wish them success and hopefully, they will get to become parents as they want to. However, I have a feeling they just want the fun cute moments/ an accessory over a child like a lot of influencers/social media celebs.

Finding Emily Blackwell increasingly irritating, she comes across as an opportunistic social climber, only likes to be around people who can get her somewhere/make her look good. And why oh why does she keep referring to herself in the 3rd person, it’s super irritating and egoist & not in any way cute or fun as she’s constantly trying to portray herself to be. She thinks she’s bloody Molly Mae (another pain in the a!)

I thought it was weird that she would agree to go for drinks with that girl , I get its part of the show and they always do it to make her more of the cast but I never met any of my exs or currents partners friends straight away,
even then it was a little while after dating or being together that I would go out with the girls alone

I would have thought it was a bit weird, but the way they said that it was so she could meet more people, as she didn’t know many people in London yet made sense... but I can’t think WHY Harvey would suggest it knowing how friendly Emily and Liv are! What a bad idea. God men are clueless sometimes

He constantly says hurtful or passive aggressive things to Emily with no regards to her feelings. He needs someone to spank him and put him on the naughty step. I genuinely think he dresses as a baby during sex. Can he not ever take the lead in his relationship and show Emily some commitment? Does he always have to rebel against her? Will we ever know?

I don't like Emily but I am baffled why she stays with this guy- she seems sassy and opinionated so why does she let this man-child whine about everything in their relationship and make out like she is dragging him by the balls through every step of their relationship. If I were Emily I'd be long gone! He acts like being with her is such a drag and talks in a droning monotone all the time, can't see a drop of enthusiasm from him since Habbs stopped making a fuss about their relationship.


Also all the habbs chats and things Harvey covered up in the last few seasons seemed majorly suspicious to me, forgot about them but they were dodgy right?!
