I don’t really think she liked him that much I think she will have gone for anyone who said they were ready to settle down like he did. He told a lot of girls what they wanted to hear whilst on CGD. I really wouldn’t have put those two together. He’s too much of a lad messing around at weekends in cars and stuff which she wouldn’t find attractive in a man. I just wish her and Fred would get married🤣🤣

Think they let anyone on it these days especially from CGD... one of sams dates he went with once was on there Eliza she was called. She was in one episode and Sam told her he didn’t like her 🤣
 
I had thought Sophie and Tom were just doing the whole "are they aren't they" for MIC but maybe not. Kinda embarrassing if they've broken up just as he's making his MIC debut/appearance 🤣

Also, anybody seen the full preview of Sophie & James chat about Maeva? It's fully annoyed me & solidified me doing a full 180 on how much I liked Sophie. She says to him that she speaks five languages so knows for a fact that people only speak in other languages for the sake of private conversations (paraphrasing) but like ...I feel this says far more about her than Maeva? As far I know Maeva speaks only French & English... French is her native language that her partner doesn't speak, seems very judgemental to condemn her for wanting to speak her native language ffs.

Anyway why would you want unsolicited, biased relationship advice from somebody struggling so much with their own? She's some brass neck, imo.

I don’t know, I think it’s absolutely rude to be sat there chatting in a different language to your ex around the dinner table. There’s no need for it at all. If it was a french family member then whatever but to an ex infront of your current boyfriend is just disrespectful and inappropriate.
I think maeva would go running back to miles if he was to click his fingers

Normally I might agree that it's some what rude at least but I think the context of Maeva only moving to London in recent years and knowing Miles from prior is important. It's such a weirdly British thing to be totally no contact with any exes tbh. I'll agree there is definitely something to be said about the innocence of their relationship, don't get me wrong but honestly I feel like the best thing James could do is be supportive anyway. He looks like a possessive, jealous head not being supportive plus it's causing them issues anyway, and honestly if Maeva & Miles are going to rekindle then it'll happen whether or not James "lets" them be friends or not... it would be more of a win-win for him to just stop being jealous; either his relationships will thrive because his girlfriend will know he trusts her or he'll give Maeva enough rope to hang the relationship with and then he'll be free from it.

Personally though, if I was Maeva I'd do exactly the same in terms of telling James I am going to be friends with my ex if I wanted to, even purely out of principle - it's a fine thin between respect and control when your partner starts ruling out friendships for you tbh, even if she did cut Miles off completely, ok, how long until the next "Miles" comes along?

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with maeva and miles speaking french. Sophie says German words all the time. I know a convo is different but it’s the principle really. She is french that’s her first language so she is going to want to. Isn’t it just the same as James and verity speaking English which is their language and also an old flame of his. I think his jealousy is making him an arse
 
My mother in law who's english, and my father in law who's first language is italian but has lived in England for 30 years and has perfect english speak english all the time in front of me until they want to say something private and then they speak in Italian and I leave the room in a huff when they do. They even point and look at me when they do it 🤣😡

Tristan always seems to have a problem with best friends. I think he’s really good at pretending to be the good guy, has a big ego and thinks he’s better than everyone else. I would absolutely hate it if my husband is casually chatting away about previous shags he’s had, and I’m not a jealous person, it’s just really disrespectful

I wish miles would leave maeva alone. He knows she holds a flame for him and he just likes to stir the pot.
