They're in lust and Sam's just in extended love-bombing mode. In much the same way he love-bombed Inga for two years. He's not capable of real love. He and Yaz click so well because they're both such abominable humans who put themselves first and couldn't give a stuff about the hurt they cause others.

They've severely damaged their own relationships, close friendships and business partnerships with their selfish and guileless behaviour, but don't seem to feel any guilt about any of it. Instead they're (unfathomably) still playing the victims from what happened in Corsica. They've actually threatened to do a whole podcast episode telling "their side of the story", which has actually rendered me speechless.

Now you mention that, I think this could’ve been their intention the whole time. No one gives a duck about a food podcast.

They’ve also done separate podcasts talking about Corsica last year (Chloe Burrows and Emily). Shameless behaviour.

I listened to the Chloe Burrows podcast and only the beginning of Emily's (I found it too infuriating). I thought Sam's attitude on Chloe's podcast was very weird. He was in the early stages of dating Yaz yet kept saying how amazing Inga was, and how his mum still wanted them to get back together and get married some day.

I can't remember exactly what he said about Corsica but he did really play down the break up and his fault in the whole thing. He said that Inga really wanted them to move in together but he wasn't ready, and that he wasn't mentally ready for such a serious, adult relationship. So basically deflecting the blame onto Inga. How dare she want to have a mature adult relationship with a grown man. The audacity of the woman!
 
Sorry to derail this thread totally but does anyone still follow Fran Newman-Young from back in the day? I do and I just had to comment on all of her wedding planning posts. Her other half seems so disinterested and she’s always making “jokey” comments about his face being a picture and being dragged on another wedding trip. A few weeks ago she also made some worrying comment about them being out for dinner and her “keeping her mouth shut to avoid another argument”. I have friends of friends of her and her man and know for a fact he was unfaithful to her a lot in the past. Ugh, he just gives me such ick!!!

I follow Fran. Sad to read about the fiancé. She has a chance to change her future, find a man who will
fill her soul with love & companionship.

That's really sad. She deserves better.

Talking about old cast, I think Lucy Watson is going to have her baby any day now. She showed a necklace with a W on saying it was a name clue.. Any guesses?

I don't follow Fran but I've seen her leave gushing comments on Yaz's posts (yuck). That aside, I always thought she was treated really unfairly on the show. Binky was an absolute b*tch to her and I don't think she ever recovered from how badly she made her look on MiC.

From what you've said about her bloke, I hope Fran calls off the engagement before it's too late. He sounds like a prize sh*tbag and I'd be worried he might be very emotionally abusive. I get the impression that Fran's very forgiving and gets pushed around easily. She seems to like to keep the peace, even if that's at the cost of her being treated badly. Binky was so foul to her and she seemed to take a lot of it on the chin.

She said it's going to be traditional, so I hope it's William and not something like Wilberforce 😂

Agreed. He's a munter. It saddens me when women settle for these clearly emotionally abusive blokes. Hopefully she's not dropping her friendships. I've lost a best friend to his emotionally controlling relationship. He changed personality so quickly, became really cold, distant and selfish. Definitely got the vibe that his weirdo partner didn't like him having a female best friend (she's not much of a looker, which I think had something to do with it). I told him how unhappy I was that he'd dropped our friendship, and morphed into a different person. Guess what? Not only did he unfollow me, but his crazy girlfriend, who I'd never even met (but reciprocally followed out of politeness) not unfollowed me but also blocked me😂Insecure much?
