It used to be soooo bad, they would shoehorn the products in so unnaturally to a scene like in TOWIE when they obviously had a partnership with apple pay or something and they would go to a bar or a cafe and they'd spend ages zooming in on one of the cast like "don't worry I got this one" and paying for their drinks with apple pay before moving on with the scene, it made me skin crawl it was so conspicuous and cringey. MIC I think used to do ones with places like Not on the High Street and they'd just randomly get each other presents at the start of scenes and then just never speak of it again 💀 the reality format does not lend itself to product placement it's always deeply cringeworthy

The worse was on towie recently, with the bloody Texaco petrol station 🤣🤣😩😩 it was absolutely awful

Rez actually isn't a bad-looking bloke, minus the ridiculous fillers and little-b*tching over Ruby. I thought he was a bit of alright when he joined MiC, but now he just seems very tragic. Dude's knocking 40 and chasing after his toxic ex like a little puppy dog. Not attractive.
 
Julius is so unhinged, honestly he's just not well is he? Why do I feel like that everyone who's ever dumped him has in fact told him exactly why that is a million times and he has still walked away spouting rubbish about having no idea and being the victim. Can't think of a single person he's dated on the show who couldn't have done far better or would have been happier with someone else or happier single.

That bloody tik tok makes it sound like he's about to go off on an incel-fuelled killing spree because of all the women he put the effort in to only for them to not give him what he wanted or to decide they want to end it because they've worked out that he's an odious little worm with no prospects and have done a runner.

The worst part of all of it is that someone like him is even allowed to try and present themselves as a life coach, dangerous stuff. Not a strong advertisement when you are 30 and balancing poolside like a plum, filming yourself while you enthusiastically exhibit all your own red flags 🤡

Looks like Fred has moved on from the Friends with Benefits podcast. Must have gotten bored of Sophie taking non-stop about herself.

In other news, James' younger brother Jack is reportedly joining the show. Poor bugger. He was that random bloke in that embarrassing TikTok vid of the cast, which someone posted a few comments up.

This is too funny - I almost spat out my coffee 😂The end part of the video is especially unnerving, I agree. He's had a hair transplant (new hair, same old tw4t), I assume in a bid to win Georgia back.

The photoshopping/face tuning on all of Ollie, Gareth and Sophie’s insta photos is terrifying. The audacity to push it so far that they look like completely different people 😂 Tweaks here and there I could understand!

Sydney was so so boring. I was excited to watch it once it was on Hayu this week because I had to travel for work and it was something to do in the evenings. I am not going out after work lol my province was so cold all last week (minus 45 and up yay!) and has been snowing so much this week. So this was something to do.

But the only somewhat intriguing thing to me was that Tristan and Bella have apparently become good friends. I actually kind of liked watching those scenes and that friendship. The other entertaining thing was watching Liv turn on the water works because Tristan and Lauren are rubbing things in her face. Liv is so full of herself and I really hope Tristan never goes back there. Her birthday gift to him was manipulative imo. Also, I wish Lauren had the guts to stand up to Olivia more and give the same sort if energy she gave when she was so mean to Willow.

Rez and Ruby remain the worst and Temps is kind of starting to irritate me with his nice guy act. I don't know if any of you watch a lot of American reality shows but he is reminding me of this guy on Southern Charm JT who makes his whole personality coming to the defense of women, infantlizing them in the process, and being the moral police.

Lol you're braver than me - can't bring myself to watch the Sydney series, bar a bit of the last episode, which I viewed out of curiosity.

Lauren is odd as far as her loyalties are concerned. I agree - she gave Willow so much wrath based on some clearly false rumour Bella spread about her, yet sucks up to Liv who's been massively disrespectful towards Lauren, and effectively called her trash because she's happy with Tristan. Liv is another level of narcissist - insists for weeks that she couldn't give a toss about Tristan dating Lauren, yet guilt-trips the f out of her, after buying Tristan a completely inappropriate romantic gift. I think Lauren was too scared to confront Liv because she knows how nasty she gets when defensive, plus Ruby would end up going rabid on her too.

As for Tristan and Bella, fair enough to Tristan for having some sort of moral backbone and sticking up for her. Whereas Lauren, who's supposedly Bella's best friend, did f all to defend her or call out Ruby and Rez's behaviour. Even more odd was how she sat there smirking whenever Ruby brought up the topic of getting cosy with Rez. Again, she's being very careful to moderate herself because she knows turning against Ruby and co would be a bad move strategically, and would make her a social pariah among the group.

So glad you're not a Temps fan either haha. His supposed morals are paper-thin and last all of five minutes, depending on who he's sharing the screen with. He's a lot like Liv in that sense. I initially respected him for calling out Yaz and Sam, but now he's up their bumholes like nobody's business. And don't even get me started on his worshipping of Miles🙄Strange bloke.

Yeh temps is getting away with outsmarting them to look the good guy. And his whole job/professional background is in the knowledge of sm and what sells. He's seeing the comments about him and running with it. I think when he's a drunk ass it's very telling. As he can't then keep up the act. The other are dickheads but he's being quite sly too which I deteste.
He now gets his whole life free.
Did a beg post the other day " ohhh I need a winter wardrobe so bad,I've no clothes..." hate that.

Haha, am yet to see him drunk. That's so embarrassing about the free clothes post😂They all seem to be at it, embarrassing fuckers. I think he set the precedent as soon as he started appearing on the show as Miles' lapdog, and allowed him to convince him to dump Imogen.

He was having a go at his dog on live theother day. It was on the line of head because he wasn't angry. He was tired nd pissed at the dog being the dog. And was full bad dog mode but because I can't be assed with you.
