I have NEVER ironed bedding , and being honest I only iron something if it needs it,the idea of standing for hours ironing is unappealing to me if I'm being honest wiff you.Who has EVER bothered to iron their bedding whilst in use if it starts to look a bit creased mid week?

Exactly, why would you do that? I would rather change it than iron it to me that is so unhygienic, I iron my covers after washing so this is like ironing dirty sheets. What is with using those crappy hangers? for goodness sake invest in some decent hangers. Me neitherI don’t own an iron
much to my mums disgust. But it broke a few years ago and never needed a new one. Hubby is a chef so doesn't need work wear and his retired mum irons anything he wants done to raise a bit of cash. I ironed my bedding once and realised it was dropping all over the floor and getting creased so didn't bother again. Who gives a tit about slightly creased bedding?
