I don't fully understand... What are they offering in Mexico & Germany at these healing clinics which are not available in Ireland? And why is it so expensive? Hasn't been explained.

The post has bumped the GFM upto 10k... I'm interested to see how far this goes and how much raised by the GFM could have been covered by the new car or reno cost?

Nothing, if you throw money at these they’ll offer you anything. Vicky Phelan admitted this.

Una shared it yesterday, although no visible donation. Maybe she's one of the anonymous €10 donations. No donation & nothing on Insta from Siobh or Marty (that i can see, story may have expired)... Sinead has outdone them all & donated €1000 😳

Marty came to visit the new gaff last summer. There were some LOLs about him painting... Might have saved a few bob if he actually did. Didn't know he went to Mexico, seems odd 🤔

The GFM is at almost €20k.

There have been several articles (Irish Sun, Mirror, local paper) highlighting the new GFM - mainly with a headline saying Una Healy has shared a post etc.

A couple of the articles simply state she is seeking donations for more treatment, others list the GFM wording which states she does not have enough left from her settlement to cover the new treatment.

So I would highly suspect that the people donating are a) friends of Lynseys or b) not aware of how the settlement has been spent to date 🤷‍♀️
 
I have every sympathy for this girl and her family it’s common knowledge that she received a settlement and at the end of the day it’s a choice to donate to any go fund me, I won’t be donating to this one it’s all a big vague about exact costs and the return trips required, maybe Big C could donate some of her GFM seeing as it wasn’t used for the purposes it was collected.
GFM needs regulation it should at least come under remit of charities regulator.
My heart wishes that these treatments would work and give people real time but my head tells me that it’s only a matter of time before someone is unable to return to their families as they become too ill 😢 the HSE rightly does not pay for these treatments abroad it is public money there are literally 1000s of heartbreaking stories.

I actually would be mortified to have a GFM which I then didn't use or at least explain the spending. I think Vicky Phelan tried to give her donations back and ended up donating it for charitable purposes.

I see as well in the latest stories, we have been informed of the cost of a machine... Clearly aware that people are commenting / questioning the GFM

None of them have any common decency and they love milking the illness card to benefit and get as much as possible from kind people for material stuff. Cancer treatment in Ireland is 100% free so if you choose other medical routes, go pay for it yourselves and stop begging.

They should be given to genuine charities that need funding !!!!!!!

If you havent followed lindsey the past year year she has been doing up her house she got a big area done out the back one not even a 3rd of the size of hers and was quoted 8grand.
The tiles the floors the kitchen the quartz the luxury that is absolutely worth nothing if your not gonna be there in it.
Her children won't get the value of it either as it will all date and loose value by the time they are adults !
Then saying this year no messing around its for treatment time is notnof the essence when sick.

Now to ask for more money !!!! Nope it's not right. The story breaks my heart but her actions 😭

I completely understand her buying a house for them to have the value and security of it. But a high end luxury home wasn't needed.

Definitely not..the money spent doing up that house with fancy crap that wasn't needed could have went into her cancer treatment fund....or even a trust fund for her kids futures....when she is gone are her kids going to care about how fancy the house is?
 
I just don't get the house. The girls are too young to live by themselves when she is gone so they'll most likely separate with their dad's. Then they might go to college, is the house just going to lie vacant for 15 years until they are old enough to want it? At the start I thought yes security but surely it would have made more sense to save the money in a trust fund for them when they are old enough to buy their own places
