Following on from what @Gemma_NYC posted on the previous thread regarding Ali’s Instagram following … it looks suspiciously like somebody has been on a spending spree, and I don’t mean at Souster and Hicks or the local garden centre!

EXACTLY … Ali’s numbers do not add up no matter how you look at them, especially given he hit 706,000 on 14th July, but has been steadily haemorrhaging followers ever since!

PS: If I had to guess, I’d say Lydia is behind his sudden spike in followers purely because she’s losing lucrative brand deals left and right - they need to keep those pounds coming in somehow.

I really don’t want to support Ali because I think he’s enabling Lydia - but he had several viral reels! He ended up with 50M views over about ten reels, so 200k extra followers from 50M views is fairly realistic

Also think it’s real growth because Lydia in the first 4 minutes of her new video is begging people to subscribe so she’s clearly worried she’s going to outgrown by Ali soon! I’d love to see that in all honesty because homegrown humble pie is the best
