I absolutely agree with the comment further down below. She's advertising products, they should be spelled and pronounced correctly. Imagine if you were watching a TV ad and the model pronounced it wrong, how unprofessional and embarrassing for the brand.

I don’t consider lidl (our lids) as a brand. What does she represent? Anything and everything . She isn’t like Nike, Coca-Cola, Apple. When you mention any of them , a specific thing comes to mind ie, shoes, drink, computer. If you mention Christiano Ronaldo, yep he is a brand but lids never she is just a big supermarket sales person!

Decided to sell it a couple of months ago because I had used it only a handful of times and it just didn’t work for me to be honest, and the resale value was £1000 higher as a result of the subsequent price increases. So I think you can make money on them, even without acting as a ‘collector’/‘investor’.

As a side note, I think price increases are insane and it really puts me off the brand. Also, covid has also taught me that handbags are a bit of a silly thing to spend thousands of pounds on. I know it’s a personal thing

I really, really, really hate when influencers talk of buying bags or “pieces” as investments. I have a colleague who has a finance background and a few weeks ago was talking to me about how they want to buy a Chanel bag as an investment piece and then resell it after a few years.
These bags are only investment pieces if you never, ever use them and keep them in all of the original packaging and in a climate controlled environment for the next 30+ years. Even then they aren’t true investment pieces.

Goodness these influencers are dim.

Yes!!! They are in Ibiza together for a week and already they are posting pathetically.

All 4 of em posting their hotel and Lydia making sure you see she’s brought that Chanel bag. Honestly I would be afraid to leave that thing in the room for fear it would be stolen! She was some kind of idiot for posting that video yesterday and making sure everyone knew the price.

I absolutely agree. You could easily make 1k - however, that does not a property downpayment make unless you have a lot - in perfect condition - bought specifically for that purpose. In her case, her original lunchbox is so defective as to have no resale value and another one the cat clawed it right down the front - also no resale value. They were never stored properly.
