Lydia Millen #94 New London salon: Nicky Lazou is thriving, while Lydiot's career is dying

So the Influencer Freya Farrington is a massive fan of Lydiot ... Her latest YT vid is a review Influencer brands. I'm really surprised she didn't review any of Lydiot's crap shite pieces with Karen Millen / ByTerry / GlobyLydia.
Freya reviewed products by Lydia Tomlinson, Molly Mae, Elle Darby, Gemma Louise Miles and a few others. She probably realised she would have to be honest in her reviews and in doing so, may incur the wrath of her favourite influencer. And we then, for sure, would have another #hairgate or Hadassah Cordoba situation on our hands.
Also Lydiot's tat is hugely overpriced - Freya probably did not want to waste her £££ on crap ...

I actually don’t mind lung butter at all … my son has CF, so I’m very much used to dealing with copious amounts of thick sticky yellow/green mucous.

I must yell at him to “COUGH THAT UP” at least fifty times a day because I can hear his chest rattling from the next room and that’s after he’s done all of his physiotherapy sessions!

Every single nurse I know has one aspect of the job that they just cannot stomach - for me it’s feet, for you it’s secretions (and I totally get it, little people’s secretions aren’t anywhere near as bad as an adult’s especially if they require suctioning), for one of my colleagues it’s emptying catheter bags - and that’s the reason nurses work together as a team, at the end of the day we are only human.

Love to you and Master Midnight! I’m just so grateful to you medical people who deal with all of this on a daily basis. And somehow manage to make it not embarrassing for us patients. I had to have an operation for an abscess in a very unfortunate place and just before I went into surgery I apologised to the surgical team for having to do something so unpleasant at the end of their long workday and they were so lovely to me! I was terrified as I’d never had a general anaesthetic before but they had me laughing as I went under.

I recall as a young, new nurse on the job having a poor old man in his bed vomiting and I managed to throw him a bag while I stood at his sink gagging and vomiting with him and crying out "I'm sorry! It's not you! I'm so sorry!". I can honestly say, I think I can deal with most things now...I guess I have learned to just disassociate when doing awful tasks

With what she wore to Hermes in mind, she really seems to just be feeding off of Jade Holland Cooper's style - the equestrian look and whatnot - and lifestyle (she wishes). Bit jel of Jade and Vic's friendship so she's doing the most to shimmy her way in there.

I've been trying to find the video where she clearly says she is not an Hermes fan, because within 12 months she goes from not being a fan to buying 2 second bags and boots and 2 belts... and now she is stomping into Hermes like she's always shopped from there.

OH, THE STORIES I COULD TELL!

I’m go glad your procedure went well and the surgical staff made you as comfortable as they did - having a general anaesthetic for the first time can be really frightening, but all the surgical and anaesthetic nurses I know are always prepared for first time patients who have never been to theatre before.

I hope you’ve recovered from your surgery, your incision site has healed well and you’re no longer in any pain.

Speaking of Holland Cooper, the last PR gift from HC to Lydia was in Dec 2019. But then Lydia started her Karen Millen campaign. Last HC shout out/attempt of brand reach was November 2020, then it was the same outfit/shoot for a January post. If she wants to get in with HC she needs to do more then 1 pair of boots and a jacket. Vic spent a lot of money on HC before any collaboration, and did a detail haul about the brand to create that relationship. Lydia constant mix of Hermes belt/handbag with H&M items doesn’t really scream HC aesthetic.

Master Midnight, just like everyone else living with a lifelong congenital illness, is a trooper.

CF sucks, it’s a horrible disease and some days are tougher than others … I just hope one day there will be a cure for it (now THAT would actually be The Dream).

I struggled with A LOT in my graduate year of nursing and I remember gagging uncontrollably when an elderly patient involuntarily opened their bowels all over my shoes and socks while I was showering them (I forgot to put a pair of plastic booties on - lesson learned the hard way), I was absolutely mortified!

But you’re right, over time and with experience we become desensitised to most things … except for feet, I don’t know why, but I have NEVER been able to deal with feet no matter who they belong to!

I can't with her arrogant look in most of her pics. Don't get me wrong, I am all for sporting your resting-witch-face without getting told to "sheer up, luv" but this is on another level. She wants to sell things. Do the photographers and campaign managers have no say in her posing?
At least she is wearing KM in the pics, not like in her Caroline Herrera shoot. (But then, combined with Hermes.. that woman)
