Your facial muscles hold your face, as you get older thats not so effective, so you look older (the muscles weaken essentially), by exercising your facial muscles perhaps is doing great work maybe I don't know. But as they can't move because of Botox your muscles cant hold your face because they weaken, because they arent getting used.
Is another way of looking at it, there's this professional athlete I have heard of that tore forgot their name but the joint kind of part of the muscle to a limb she has. She was due to have an operation on the limb to repair it, but because of the longer wait times there's nothing there now to repair as the part that ripped had receded and basically disppeared. All the surgeon could do was shave a bit of the bone away to stop it from hurting. If you don't use a particular part of the body it just weakens or disappears.
Could be least one of the reasons why Lydiots looking older, not convinced its entirely because of the clothes at all it'll be more than likely this as part of the reason why if she does that (though I can't exactly remember).

The buttons on Claire’s coat are really badly place IMO and the one Lydia is wearing is the button placement do me seems better. I’ve not looked at teh fabric or price points. Both coats are for “show” not really to be worn from practical perspective.
