I can't stand how Lydia is being dishonest in her latest tiktok! She is doing a promotion for Pipers Farm products which has got the word Ad in the post description, but she is making out that she has bought the products herself, out of her own pockets. She goes on to say she is supporting British farming and local produce by buying the produce from Pipers Farm in a monthly shop food delivery. Thats a lie, she's not though, it's an AD for the monthly food shop delivery! She is only singing their praises because they have paid her to, and she is getting these products in exchange to promote them and being paid for it and even left a discount code.

I find it infuriating that giving the impression that she is doing this out of the goodness of her own heart and gone out of her way to support all these causes is utterly disingenuous and a complete farce, there is no way she would be buying these food items in the first place because a/ they are expensive and she's a tightwad and b/she supports no one except herself.

Then she had the audacity to say " she knows not everyone is able to do this and she is in a very privileged position to do this and if they are in the same position (financially) to inspire them to shop better".....Yes, but she gets it all for free and other people will not!! If she was bringing awareness to British farming and local produce of her own accord, and was transparent and told the truth, that's one thing, but to outright lie is another.

Well at least she didn’t say you should do it and said not everyone can so don’t feel bad if you can’t but if you financially well off please do.
it’s better than years ago when all influencers never acknowledged that not everyone could afford it

Yes, but she is hoodwinking people into believing she is paying for the goods herself when she is not, that was the point i was trying to make.

Yes agree... she is making it sound like she's paid for this and has been. Why can she only get sourdough an hour away at Farmhouse or through this box? Isn't there sourdough EVERYWHERE!?

And she looks HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like ZERO effort went into looking CLEAN and showered in this reel... let alone maybe a bit of lip gloss or makeup for the paid ad.

I am thinking she went all brown to save on having to constantly pay for highlights/baliage.

The hair up is ok but she needs to style it the right way. There are so many tutorials out there for her to learn from, she could definitely make the do look less severe. Constructive criticism can be a good thing.

Completely agree. She is astoundingly frugal ie selling hangers on Depop and even talked about selling off the old, used wallpaper from her downstairs loo, so am pretty sure she would never use the food company to actually buy food. The way she says she is in a privileged position is infuriating because honestly she gets most things for free and is not as wealthy as she likes to portray (according to Companies House). Forever the fraud.

I know people disagree with me but in my opinion trousers need closed shoes. Although this is a hideous outfit a pair of pointed shoes would have been so much better.
