I am completely flabbergasted having just watched the latest vlog, that once again influencers are able to title vlogs with what is only deemed as CLICK BAIT, and nothing is ever done about it.

Secondly. I keep hearing the sound of a till pinging in my head, the pound signs getting higher and higher at the amount spent. The hats, the dresses, the shoes and on repeat. The car, the basement. Seriously, who is she kidding.... this excess is just astonishing and to publicise so much on social media is a tragedy waiting to happen. Flaunting in such excess, is rather nauseating, and I am sorry but there is no way in hell even as an influencer this money is normal. I am serious, also when I say I genuinly think the influencing world will come to an end in the not to distant future, what will be left for them.

And nothing was an AD, and if so why was it not quoted?
Not only that, but the die hard stans are already defending this crap. Like…what? It’s so bloody rude and reeks of desperation. Had to pause about not even halfway through because this woman gives me such a thorough second hand embarrassment.

She’s such a b*tch!!!! Why does she still have followers????
Well, she won't have many for long if she continues with these passive aggressive, patronising replies and keeps missing vlogs.

Now both of them are skipping weekly vlogs?

Both their content and online careers will continue on this decline.

She thinks she is above everyone and the masses will come no matter what.

She's in for a surprise.

Just think of it…At the end of last week did any of us think in our wildest dreams that our desperate need to see someone unbox a free riding hat would EVAH come to pass? And then…to see it there sitting on the breadboard of glory! Werrrrlll, we don’t know we’re born do we? Lyds has a lid…

please note I was gulping madly and gesticulating in a wildly exaggerated manner whilst I wrote the above…

Suddenly got recommended her moving vlog from 6 years. The difference in the state of the house and how happy their couple looks is astounding. I feel like they’ve got a lovely house back then, why people cannot be content with what they have. These rotten wood planks and street pavement in the basement… I cannot comprehend what is going on in her head anymore

They have both posted their ads because they had to.
She can post whenever she wants and she doesn’t owe any explanations, but she usually says something if she can’t post. That’s why it’s strange that she hasn’t said anything at all.
She might be having some sort of crisis and when it comes to light in a few weeks we will look back and it will make sense why she didn’t post. Remember nobody knew when she was having her meltdown about Nicky, she hid it quite well, but there were signs about I that made sense later on. (Like why she filmed a whole vlog with a towel on her head, pretending she just got out the shower.)

August 12th or 13th is the date around which Hairgate came to light .... wasn't it Vic's Edge of Ember release party where something happened ....

Didn't he once wear this get up down to breakfast at some hotel?

Globally, most people know the difference between a dressing gown and a smoking jacket.

He's British and doesn't know the difference!

He had some IG story showing him put the get up together to "go down" for breakfast, I almost died laughing.

I bet hotel staff and other guests had the laugh of their lives.

It was almost immediately after he first purchased the dressing gown.

Down to breakfast in a dining room where other guests were also having brekkie!!

What an absolute moron he is.

Also, bleeping clueless about donning it with a casual ascot vs his weird little "neckerchiefs".

He started out with such narrow ones.

I haven't seen much improvement and maybe times have changed but if he's acting old money, traditional and trying to act like a bleeping aristocrat, get it right!

He looks an absolute clown cosplaying about things he clearly has not studied up on.

It was this Tik Tok of Ali's which some posh lady stitched making fun of his cosplay. Lyds then came in guns blazing (in a vlog) extolling the virtues of her emasculated husband. Which no one believed because she's always mocking him.

Anyone watch Alex Coll's vlog of the Game Fair ?
At one part of her vlog, Ali Millen-Gordon couldn't stop staring at Alex. He was positively fixated.
Hmmm.
It starts from around the 12 minute mark where Ali had been talking and laughing with Alex, he then moves to stand an arm's length behind her as Alex stands with Leo laughing and tasting the drink.
Whilst standing with a short blonde woman and LYDIA (!!!) Ali could not take his eyes off Alex !!
I don't think he was even trying to get into her vlog which was is what they joked about.
Maybe, at first, he was photobombing Alex. They laughed about it. Big LOL.
But then he moved to stand with Lydia and the blonde woman, and he was STILL STARING !!!
He even said something about Alex to Lydia and the blonde woman - he leaned in to say something to them whilst unconsciously lifting his hand pointing at Alex.

But his body language gave him away BIG TIME.
Lil Felluh was positively enthralled by the statuesque horse rider (not a fake horse rider) named Alex Coll. The enclosed screenshots ... yikes.
He literally couldn't stop himself from staring at her. In front of his frumpy wife.
Lydia may be an absolute amoral difficult biatch but, imo, his behaviour in those few minutes was quite disrespectful.

Sidenote : I love Alex's hair colour but she needs to ease up on the orange fake tan.

Lydia driving the new AM home actually touched a nerve with Ali. I kinda felt bad for him. She is so jealous of him. He mentioned every new car they've bought, Lydia has driven the new car home.
She then says "I feel bad. However ..."
When you use the words 'but' or 'however' in a sentence, it cancels out or negates what you said before to now say what you actually mean and feel. Your true feelings.
Which means she doesn't really feel bad stealing HIS MOMENT DRIVING HIS NEW CAR HOME.
She really is a vile POS.

Funny thing is that those 2 cos playing twats are not old or new money - they are no money as everything is gifted or begged for!

They don't go shooting as a hobby - but they love it!

We know she has a gardener!

I bet her riding lessons and pilates are free in return for mentions!

She probably has to wear the hat to have got it free!

They will of got a huge discount off that car as they showed so much of the show room twice!

She has not mentioned Sweed for ages as already paid! Loads of brands have gone now and she sould have done a KM Autumn collection by now, is that not happening??

The absolute ARROGANCE of Lydia saying she has been meaning to send Emmy London a message advising them of a summer shoe THAT SHE THINKS EMMY NEEDS TO DO NEXT YEAR AS PART OF THEIR ESSENTIAL SHOE COLLECTION.
Because she can't find anyone that does this shoe.
She is advising EMMY LONDON of shoes to add to their firkin collection !!!!!!!
She does not suffer IMPOSTER SYNDROME BECAUSE SHE IS AN IMPOSTER.
Lydia really and truly believes she DESIGNED clothes for KM.
She really does. All she did for km was steal designs.
The most energy she spent was looking online for designer items she loved and then said to then KM team "This Dior dress is sage, this Isabel Marant jersey in sage, this Khaite top in sage, this Dior dress in old money white, I like this Erdem dress so let's do one in sage."
In all seriousness, I really do believe Lydia, besides narcissism, suffers with some form of mental illness.

Apologies to anyone who owns those Emmy London shoes ... they're FRUMPY AF.
Even the flat pointed ones. No thanks.
---
The white dress didn't fit. It was so tight on her - look at her back and chest area. That was in no way a size 0.

Pls don't come for me discussing Lydia's weight or size - Lydia opened the door to this convo - but ... even Tamara / Vic / Emily Canham / Alexx C / Kate H, who are way thinner than LyDIA, do not take a size 0.
I think Tamara is a UK 4 or 6.

The polka dot dress made her look so chunky. And I assume the length was supposed to be 'tea length' but she was too lazy to get the dress hemmed, so it was almost floor length. Idiot.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd then she added those ugly cream shoes which made her stumpy feet look like SHE WAS WEARING THE SHOE BOXES. Fail.

😊 Hmm not surprised he was enthralled by the gorgeous bubbly Alex she is a breath of fresh air compared to his miserable witch faced wife. Also looks to me like he cant take his eyes away from the camera #bighead

Think she has been drunk replying to people again… either passive aggressive or showing total disregard for her audience

This is the REAL Lydia.
Life Coach Jacqueline's life coaching has been a major FAIL, poor Jacqueline's life coaching has changed NOTHING.
Lydia used Jacqueline to write Evershite.
It was just an elevenerife move for Lydia.
Jacqueline life coaches to HELP improve people's lives.
Whereas Lydia (and Carrie) ACTUALLY WROTE A BOOK IMPROVING PEOPLE'S LIVES. Lydia didn't just help, she full improved people's lives.
Sorry Jacqueline, you were ✨Lydia elevenerifed✨

The mean girl has to come out. Lydia just can't help herself.
That is her 'go to'.
She can't change her personality, even with her happy pills.
In times of stress and turmoil, be it her family, friends or subscribers, she is always nasty, even when they are trying to help / advise her. She is always on the defense. Always the victim.

So, if Lydia had progressed emotionally and mentally, she would not be so passive aggressive, so closed-minded to her subscribers comments or criticism, even the helpful ones.
If she was so zen, she would take those comments on board with no anger and seething aggression. I thought she loved her followers, "We're FRIENDS" "I love my online community".
Yet here we are.

Almost feels like the good ol' Globy Hairgate days of 2020 / 2021. 🤭

THIS IS A GOOD READ - ON HMRC

As well as scrutinising the income tax affairs of social media influencers, HMRC has now begun to investigate businesses that provide them with gifts in exchange for promoting their brands and products.
Widening the pursuit
HMRC has recently sent ‘nudge letters’ to thousands of online traders, gamers, and social media influencers that it suspects have not paid the right amount of income tax on their online earnings.

It is now turning its attention to businesses that provide free ‘gifts’ to influencers in exchange for promoting their brands and products on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube and, in some cases, issuing VAT assessments for failing to account for VAT correctly on the value of these gifts.
More than simple business gifts
HMRC’s view is that a gift is a voluntary and unconditional transfer of goods or services where the recipient of the gift provides nothing in return. Normally gifts of goods are ignored for VAT purposes unless the total cost of all such gifts made to a single person exceeds £50 in any 12-month period. Where this threshold is breached, HMRC expects the business to account for VAT on the cost price of each gift to the person concerned. For gifts of services there is no equivalent rule, and no VAT becomes due.

However, HMRC considers that goods and services provided in this way to influencers by retailers and other businesses are not simple business gifts and, therefore, are not covered by the business gift rules. Instead, it takes the view that the business providing the goods or services obtains a commercial benefit from the influencer in the form of advertising services – either from the promotion of the business’s brand or by advertising a specific product.

HMRC takes this view even if there is no formal contract between the business and the influencer; ie it considers there is an implied agreement between both parties representing a barter transaction. In other words, HMRC views goods and/or services supplied by the business as non-monetary consideration for the provision of advertising or promotional services being provided in return by the influencer.

This means that, instead of asking businesses to apply the business gift rules and potentially only account for VAT on the cost price of any goods supplied, HMRC values the barter transaction using the normal retail selling price of the goods and/or services that are supplied to the influencer. This potentially significantly increases the VAT liability for businesses making gifts to influencers.

One-size fits all?
Marketing teams tend to use influencers to promote their business’s products through their social media platforms but will engage with those influencers in several different ways. Different arrangements may include:

  • gifting a product as a gesture of goodwill, with no expectation that the influencer will promote the product;
  • providing the influencer with a product within an agreement (often only informally documented) that the influencer will make a defined number of posts. This sometimes extends to the business needing to sign-off on any promotional content created by the influencer;
  • using affiliated links, whereby an influencer may earn commission in return for the number of visits to a business’s website and/or visits that result in purchases; and
  • cash payments to influencers acting under a formal contract, but where one or more of the business’s products is supplied to the influencer to enable them to fulfil their role, the influencer may be allowed to retain the product, although this rarely forms part of the contract.
The delineation between gifts, barter and simply consuming goods or services in the course of business is nuanced and open to debate but, in practice, HMRC’s stance appears to be that there is a general expectation of something in return for any gift to an influencer and hence the retail price of the gift forms part of the overall consideration on a barter basis.

HMRC compliance activity
HMRC has already contacted dozens of UK retailers concerning their arrangements with influencers, and many more businesses can expect to receive a HMRC questionnaire requesting further information on such activities.

In many cases, these businesses subsequently receive a VAT assessment from HMRC. While this could potentially happen to any business that provides goods or services to influencers, HMRC seems particularly focused on retailers, a sector that has been quicker than most to see the commercial benefit of having a trusted influencer with a huge social media following advertising their brand and/or products.

Influencers may also not have considered the VAT consequences of the arrangements and may not even be VAT registered. This prevents the business that made the gift(s) from passing on the VAT cost or being able to obtain VAT relief on the supply of advertising and promotional services which HMRC considers it received in return from the influencer.

Thinking about the bigger picture
Not only should businesses be thinking about the immediate VAT implications of their transactions with influencers, but they should also consider the corporate criminal offence (CCO) implications. In circumstances where an influencer requests goods or services (rather than invoiced cash payments), businesses engaging with them should take reasonable steps and have procedures in place to ensure they do not inadvertently facilitate tax evasion; for example, by an influencer seeking to convert the payments in kind they receive by way of gifts into cash (by selling them via marketplace websites etc) without including the income on their income tax return.
