Lydia Millen #105 Confusing greed for goals, viewers as trolls, time to go back to those Ibiza poles

Regarding the Rodial blurring advert. Sorry but I think she’s either been in trouble or is worried about getting into trouble. I know I reported that advert to the ASA and think some others did too. I got a reply saying that due to the nature of it they would have to send it for assessment from a specialist team.
I haven’t heard anything back yet and normally if they think all is good, the ASA reply saying ‘no action will be taken at this time’.

I have a hunch all this deflection and telling fibs about using a filter is setting the scene so that if she does get in trouble she will feign innocence and her sheep will believe her as she’s already laid the groundwork.

She already uses that vlogging camera that has the skin blurring feature built into it and that isn’t allowed! Even if she didn’t use the blurring tool in post edit, she still used the camera with the built in skin enhancer which is false advertising.

She is and always will be a nasty little liar.

AGREE! This sudden pulling down the 2 previous posts in question and posting in stories that she just likes to say what she likes about it and goes beyond the brief from the brand is completely damage control. But inept damage control because she forgot to say she didn't use a filter or blur app or lie about disappearing pores. If she hadn't used a filter she would be able to flatly deny it and leave it all up!

GOOD if she's in trouble with the ASA and IG, she deserves to be caught for serving up desperate moves like this.

Considering the decor of the wedding, they tend to not go overboard with their spending. This is how you save money. Good for them, I think I might have to follow them.
 
I STILL don't understand why KM lists items before they are supposed to go live??? Is it because they know they won't do well? :LOL:(So sorry if this has been posted!)

Yes, why remove it if she’s stating there was no filter. Removing it says you’re guilty.

If I was her, I’d just go back to dark hair, it suited her. She won’t have a good long term stylist to keep up with balayage and ashiness, she might as well go one colour and call it a day, easy to maintain.

This is the original Lydia I saw on IG she looks so much better with darker hair and thinner brows. She looks more chic in the second picture.

ohhhhh...she must have received a little tap on the shoulder...!

Around ~21min in the latest vlog she makes a remark about the camera acting up.
At the time, this seemed really out of context to me, and one of the details in the video which reminded me of the post-globy era as she would mention apparently random things, which later proved to be groundwork to cover up some lies.

My thought process: If the camera did something, it was not visible to us audience, in which case, why not edit out that remark in post?
Probably Lyds just leaving some "evidence".
This hypothesis might be totally invalid. I have zero knowledge about filters and didn't catch the OG Rodial post. But she says something along the lines of "I have mark ii, thought it feels like a mark iii". Does that line up in terms of specs?

I think the same thing. Her coloring looks muddy and her hair is just a multitude of brown muddy shades. Nothing about her is vibrant. Not her coloring, her style, or her personality. She needs to give up that fun girl persona because we know she is not a fun girl. She needs to work on being a nice person and then fun will come naturally. Blondes are a dime a dozen. It's hard to name a true brunette with blue eyes (my husband has/had dark hair that is now pure white and has very blue eyes and he has both men and women comment on his eyes and his thick white hair). It's exotic and she could fill a void in the influencer market. I actually thought that she was tall when I first came across her. She walked and sat tall but she slouches now and her shoulders are always rolled forward. Her clothes made her look tall and she rarely wore busy little prints. I was shocked that she was just several inches taller than me. At least 95% of the makeup shades that influencers show on their accounts don't fit well with my coloring. I am a very dark hair 2-4N and a medium C or N in the winter and a darker C or N shade in the summer. Flirty and ruffles are not me. I am short so a high neckline for me in the summer are out but in the winter I live in solid shade cashmere sweaters with various necklines. She so wants to be blonde and rail thin that it has consumed her. A fit, blue eyed brunette would open more doors because there is less competition. She really should knock off that fake tan in the winter but like so any things in her life she is set in her ways and she knows best, which she doesn't. All I know is that there are very few influencers that I can get inspiration from watching. Tamara is close but she is tall and now that her hair has highlights it just doesn't inspire me plus she dresses very edgy and the US Midwest is not edgy. Sophie dresses business smart which is my look but I don't do large logos. Sophie is my handbag guru, though and I love when she get treatments and shows exactly what they do and how it works. It's the dream doesn't tell me $hit. Glowy tells me it is greasy and I don't want or need that.

At least Ali had a chance to hang out with a woman who is a real "lady boss", who has confidence and seems to be easygoing. Granted she's married and older than him, I still bet he has a little secret crush on her.
