This is a good point and likely true. For sure the old company would have more say in telling Luisa to reign the self obsession in. Now it’s Anna and Imo who won’t stand up to her fully.
The podcast used to be brilliant, even the early episodes of them starting LuAnna weren’t bad but agree with others about it being just about them moaning now. The podcast used to be funny and there was more input and banter in it. They would discuss topical issues each week as well as listeners stories. Now they refuse to discuss topical and current issues, don’t include banter and just let Luisa drawl on.
To be fair to them, maybe the interest in the pod has dropped and nobody emails or does voice messages in anymore and that’s why it’s just Luisa moaning her face off about how she hates having to raise her own children.
 
Long time lurker, first time commenting. I used to really like Luisa but she’s so far up her own arse now. Bragging about taking a private jet to Portugal when a lot of people are facing redundancy due to the covid crisis shows just how out of touch she is with the world. The comment on this weeks podcast about eating toilet paper really disturbed me...it’s obvious that she has an eating disorder from the tiny amount she eats, the hours of exercise she does and banging on about how fat she is.

I used to really like Anna too but I feel like she lets Luisa say whatever she pleases and meekly agrees in the background. I think Luisa is really jealous of Anna’s achievements with her career, both on screen and off screen, especially as Anna seems to be getting more tv work now. Just goes to show that having more social media followers isn’t as amazing as Luisa makes out!

Final point to add: the singing on the podcast makes me want to drill my own eardrums. 😂

This really ragged me too because Anna actually understands what she is talking about and Luisa clearly doesn't have the capacity to grasp any of it so that must mean it's a load of tit? Why not give Anna a few minutes uninterrupted to give insight into what she is qualified in. Even if Luisa thinks it's a load of tit, just pretend to be interested instead of putting Anna down! I really wish Anna would give Luisa a taste of her own medicine. I like Anna but I think she is a bit scared of Luisa and that's why she does the fake laughing. The fake laughing is so obvious that it's borderline cringe.
Luisa said before on the pod that she never listens back to the recordings, maybe Imo should edit out her constant bragging, she would be none the wiser anyway lol.

Nor do I listen to the podcast especially in lockdown and after reading your comments I really won’t.
All I can say I’ve not heard the podcast lately. But let’s be honest Anna needs a backbone. No friend or business partner should be treating one another in disrespect. If Anna is not standing up for herself that’s on her. She’s a grown woman and she does not owe anyone anything. I personally don’t think Luisa is jealous of Anna at all. I just think she likes having a platform with anybody and she got comfortable as we all started to like Luisa then Luisa got carried away and became self indulgent self. Me me me . Luisa just loves any attention and let’s be honest if she was not with her husband or with anyone with a bit of money behind them she would be in our faces in the public eye a lot more. She loved being a Z lister. I don’t feel sorry for Anna. I also don’t condone Luisas behaviour but there comes a point where you need to open your eyes. During the podcast she would always agreed with Luisa even if at first she did not. You can be friends with someone by not agreeing with them all the time. I guess with Luisa you cannot haha. Anna should be proud of herself regardless and never compare yourself to anyone we all want different things, goals, have different definition of success that’s what makes humans interesting.
 
I'm just listening to the pod with Russel Kane. It's awful!!! Why did they bother having kids. I feel so sorry for Luisa and Russell's kids 😢 Yes being a parent is hard but my god, the way these two are talking is terrible. It's not like they don't have help!! Anna is sitting back saying the minimum I notice.

Also Russell said he's a chav with money with a degree in hipocrisy......sounds like a good next thread title to me 😂

yes! This a million times. You’re so right. I’ve really seen a shift in influencer/blogger types over the last while. It used to be that being perfect was fashionable, your kids are perfect and portraying a perfect connection and Stepford wife style was cool. Then people were called out for not being real and nobody fawns over their family like that 100% of the time. Now it’s swung wayyyy the other way where it’s almost like slummy parenting is cool. It’s now fashionable to take photos of your kids doing private things and post them on the internet, talk about them, call them names, say you hate this or that, you can’t wait until the nanny is back whatever it may be. There’s almost a competitive tit show of parenting going on in the influencer world now.

I work in the Care sector (in HR for my sins) and couldn't imagine not talking to the team or attempting to ask questions. They're the ones your children will be playing with and be looked after by.
 
Has anyone noticed that Luisa seriously seems to be back tracking on quite a few subjects.
She knows that in these recent times, being so ‘out spoken’ & ‘bragging’ is back firing on a lot of people.
On a recent POD she really went to town on Katie Hopkins. Stating that she finds her views really awful. I’m sorry but Luisa is no angel, she has said her fair share on ‘Un PC’ subjects.
Also such a cringe moment re Food Banks, making out she is ‘doing her bit’....First she said they won’t take food, then changed to ‘they won’t take money’ after Anna explained they do take food and that it was easy as they also collect!
Completely different Luisa to the previous episode where she had to brag she’s getting a private jet so that she can have a holiday....I mean come on, where is the relatability in this?
Also had to get in on the POD that she was going to give the Furlough money she claimed to charity. She knows that has really pissed people off for claiming in the first place whilst uploading her excessive lifestyle for all to see.
I’m afraid to say that Anna really needs to stop bigging Luisa up and licking her arse.
I think the PODS days are numbered.

I did like her a lot at one point.
She’s now a typical name dropper. Also she has really not thought about the people who do follow her and are not in a privileged situation during this lockdown. Showing things here and there is fine but it can come across as insensitive and braggy. Personally she thinks we are all irritated and jealous so she thinks we are annoyed but we are not we are laughing at her.

I’m afraid people of Luisa’s ilk will always say it’s jealousy for what they have. This is because their whole life is based around material matter and they can’t see life being about anything else. It confuses them. Its a very sad existence really.
