My midwife told me that. Her exact words were 'once you BF your baby, you won't be a mum who gets poorly during nursery days because your baby is protected.'... then again she also told me babies move less towards the end so.... pinch of salt.

People do say and think that BF prevents illnesses. It doesn't.
 
Breastmilk is literally made by a body for a baby and is proven to contain antibodies that help with illness (not eliminate completely which is a ridiculous statement 🤣) and formula is modified cow’s milk - if you research it the science behind breastfeeding speaks for itself.

These instagrammers should be promoting/normalising it as some aren’t aware of the benefits or there’s a pressure to stop after a couple of months so it’s great to see them continue so long - them talking about their personal breastfeeding journey is not a criticism to others.
Equally people shouldn’t be criticised for formula feeding whether it’s because they couldn’t breastfeed or simply because they made an informed decision not to 🤷‍♀️

Theres not being forceful and then there’s being daft. Breastfeeding does help protect against illness. It gives an insane amount of antibodies modified cows milk cannot. It doesn’t stop illness completely but trying to pretend it doesn’t help to push the fed is best narrative is being in denial. People are perfectly entitled to not breastfeed for whatever reason, but we can’t start covering up the benefits just to save feelings.
 
Mums mental health should always come first. I must say it was so refreshing to see that healthcare professionals in my area do prioritise mental health now whilst also informing about the many benefits of BF when I gave birth a few months ago. Completely different experience than when I had my daughter 5 years ago.



Anyway, how old is King Roman?

Never said it didn't have benefits but I BF my baby for a while and he got colds. It doesn't STOP them getting poorly.

I really feel that they baby king roman. I know he's 2.5 but I always feel like they treat him much younger than he is.

Agree, at 2.5 years old he shouldnt have his dummy in the day for just chilling. Should be limited to bed time and naps only. But on that picture he looks so much younger than what he is, obviously babies him too much

U saw Scarlett on her stories when arriving at the hotel. I think since she has her own Instagram now, Lucy probably allowed to show her but maybe Scarlett doesn’t want to be on hers? I’ve noticed she’s not on Ryan’s as much as she used to be… typical teenager probably saying get the camera off me, and she’s quite right aswell lol

I was thinking earlier I’ve never seen Scarlett interacting with Lilah, but she seems close with Roman.
