Yeah to keep you watching. I haven't always watched it either so if it's really gone downhill as much as viewers from the beginning say it has then the cliffhangers are probably needed to keep the audience.

they’re not succeeding at that though imo, people are sick of watching 60 minutes to not even get an answer to what we were told we’ll get answered.. the day Millie and Lucinda came in to the villa was dragged into three episodes

Can’t stand more watching Sharon with her awful lip fillers and constant contradictions. Why would Hugo be interested in her he made it clear it was friendship basically to save her ass. Tbf said it before and I’ll say it again can’t really stand Hugo either he’s just waiting for someone to come in and be all over him and not prepared to put any effort into anything.
