I’m so embarrassed for Hugo - Chloe doesn’t give a tit about him, will drop him without a moments thought if another guy looks her way, yet he clearly is delusional, thinking he could get somewhere with her?! She isn’t attracted to him in the slightest

Yes it hasn’t been a nice experience for Chloe but it’s Love Island? Usually by this point in the series we’ve seen far worse than this. He did not need to go that hard and already Faye and some of the boys think he’s bang out of order.. Ostracised himself for what’ll turn out to be a friendship couple that will last as long as it takes for the next male bombshell to enter. Yikes..

I think people are praising hugo simply for digging out toby because he wouldn't own his tit. I haven't really seen hugo lead anyone on the way toby has. Time will tell though.

I do think Toby is obsessed with being liked by the public (the fact he even plays for a social media football team ) and has assumed that Chloe is the problem so is happy to bin her off

I think when he's talking to the lads and he's stopping after every word it's cause he's too busy trying to remember if anything happened that people outside will hate him for

I don't know if I'd say he sees something happening with her. Was that not like a little off the record mutual agreement they made when they were chatting they were both saying how shite things are he said I might have to stick it on you and she said I'll stick it right back. I got the impression straight away they planned to couple up. Then after that he called her sister. I'd be surprised if they ended up making a go of it but who knows

Hugo has finally had a chance to white knight one of the least deserving women in there. Chloe doesn’t give a duck about anyone apart from herself and considering she was happy for kaz to get fucked over when Toby did the same to her I’d say her treatment is karma.

Hugo is a twit and just showed his true colours. What he says he wants and what he actually wants are two separate things. He strikes me as a man that is always crushing on girls he thinks he can’t have whilst ignoring the ones that he might actually have a chance with. Utter twit.

I really don't think he did. She literally said that she thought he was friendzoning her, she just took a risk because she liked him. He never once said he wanted her to couple up with him. . and he was obviously hoping to couple with Sharon again

toby is so sensitive & cares a lot about others opinions so i can’t imagine him taking hugo’s speech lightly. he’s gonna go off

When Faye said that was rude I actually took it to mean that Hugo was being rude to Georgia, who was standing right there unacknowledged. Faye absolutely loved Georgia and thought she was perfect for Hugo so I think she was shocked that he was not even giving her a chance and going for yet another friendship couple.
