Yeah, I thought they might be trying to quietly ditch Luis when you never saw them interacting but they seemed to be together a lot. Turns out they weren't quietly ditching him!

I don't think she was. Maya asked her which boy she'd like to steal, and said "before you do, let's introduce another bombshell." She didn't say Arabella could pick him. Tyler was also specifically told to steal too, it was an obvious set up to dump Luis and Demi.
