I read all the time on social media that Grace is stunning and so hot and Gorgeous and it’s true she is very beautiful but that’s not EVERYTHING.
I dated this guy and he was extremely good looking and all my friends thought he was amazing and he was for the first week it was nice having a gorgeous boyfriend I’m not gonna lie but after a few weeks he became so boring and it got old very quickly.
He confided in me that he couldn’t keep a girl for very long and that they would ghost him and to be honest I wasn’t surprised, looks attract but they don’t make a person stick around there is more to it than that.
 
yeah it’s a tough selection as they’re all awful.

realistically it’s going to be ayo/mimii and Nicole/ciaran who are safe. Uma seems to have a legion of followers on Reddit so think they’ll be ok.

so that leaves Harriett/ronnie, Sean/matilda and konnor/Grace vulnerable. They’re clearly going to send konnor home but I can’t work out which girl will leave… can’t see it being Harriett so between Matilda and Grace..
 
Made me feel bad when Jessy picked Joe because you could tell how uncomfortable his reaction and the way the girl immediately went on made her feel. How can you sit and say you really like the girl and want to get to know her and you’re going to be “trouble” and then essentially make her feel like she’s picked you out of nowhere in front of everyone.
Sick of his face, voice, terrible acting, get him out for christ sake.

Uma has been in the bottom every time, though, I'm not so sure she'll be safe. Probably between her and Harriett/Ronnie, and I think there's a chance people will be motivated to vote for Harriett if they felt sorry for her.

I think it'll depend how Joey feels about Grace as to whether she goes or not. Usually boys pick the girl to go, except when they wanted Sean to get rid of Omar.
 
Jessy is pretty and her eyes remind me of a My Little Pony 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

What makes you think Grace will go? I can't imagine that happening, even though she deserves to. I think Uma will go, if she's in the bottom 3
 
Before the terrace drama I really thought that he only wanted Jessy to pick him because he has to win & appear as the alpha male - In his head he 'won' the new girl so that makes him king of the villa.

Not sure what I think now he's kissed her. It makes no sense, from shock horror that he picked her and asking her why, to then kissing her on the terrace. He has either got a screw loose, or he is a complete mole/puppet for the producers to create drama. How can anyone be that contradictory?!

His head will fall off in casa.

I don't think he will win overall, not even close- I cant wait to see how it messes with his head. He seems quite the narc.
 
I couldn't watch until late last night, didn't feel worth watching it without being able to join in the thread 😭

Everything with Joey and Grace seems so scripted. They have an argument about him getting to know Jessy then cuddle and kiss afterwards as if nothing has happened?! And Joey acting shocked that Jessy picked him then kissing her without saying anything to Grace first? This isn't flowing in a genuine way, I just can't believe any of it is real.

Lol at Will saying to Uma that Jessy would probably pick him then she didn't 🤣 I wonder if we'll see a conversation about that because he obviously dropped himself in it that he was getting yo know Jessy, but Uma was laughing afterwards.

Jess is so smug, arrogant, deluded and full of herself! One of the most annoying islanders ever. Trey 100% has the ick already. He was obviously told to pick her as it's so obvious he's not interested.
 
I think having Jessy come in has been the biggest tell that Joey is 100% acting. He's clearly the one pushing for this "connection", but ALL they say is "I fink we get on don't we?" "All our talks have been so good" "I've gotten a great connection with you" like???? You've not SAID anything to each other?! Yeah sure you can fancy her, but acting like you're kindred spirits with a girl you met 12 hours ago is just laughable.

Also there's no way he'd be going on like this if he wasn't told to cause drama by the producers. Saying Grace he's not sneaking around and kissing Jessy behind her back....then going and immediately doing that? I know the boys can be pricks but you just wouldn't do that unprompted.
 
Joey and Grace are pretty much the same. Have date/chat with new bombshell. Heavily imply or outright state you aren't closed off, look shocked at recoupling when the new bombshell picks you, and look upset about it so the everyone sees how committed you are to other one, and also having the effect of gaslighting new bombshell so they feel shit and think that they misinterpreted the signs you gave them.
 
I am actually really enjoying this series tbh. The bar is in hell obviously and the glory days of S1-5 are never to return but it’s been enjoyable watching for me. Joey is clearly a producer plant and Grace is just a pawn in his game IMO, although I don’t believe he’s being explicitly told to do anything by the producers, just that he’s a seasoned reality TV veteran and understands the assignment. This is a work trip for him 😂

I also give the producers props for the fact that they do seem to listen to feedback - e.g. getting rid of the nightly cliffhangers, forced girls and boys morning chats (🤢), and even just switching it up general - we’ve come a long way from the pits of S7 where everything was just a stale carbon copy of the series prior, even the villa! IMO it is a good enough version of what LI can possibly be now unfortunately.

I find it quite telling the way they’ve pivoted on the spicier elements of the show too, like cutting out a lot of the drama each season and introducing movie night - clearly IMO because they show entire scenes instead of quotes so it represents minimal producer involvement, as even if edited it’s content that the islanders could watch anyway once they left. I get a sense of “these woke pussies won’t let us do anything anymore” and it’s funny because everyone still loves reality TV, we’re just critical of things that are fucking immoral?!

For example, sending a clip of S4 Jack seeing his ex in Casa promptly before binning her off (which wasn’t shown) to Danni, implying that his head had turned. Yes this got complaints because she was distraught over information that was essentially made up by production? We don’t want or need to see contestants purposefully being made upset for no reason, we just want the satisfaction of unkind or two-faced characters to be found out and brought to justice! The same with Faye’s explosion in S7, yes that one should have been stopped because it wasn’t an equal confrontation amongst the girls or boys, she was on a relentless tirade across the villa targeting people that weren’t engaging and couldn’t get away from her? There’s a very clear distinction. There is still so much they could do, they just don’t know how to do it morally it seems.
 
I find joey very narcissistic obviously it’s not like we know him personally but one thing to know about narcissistic people is that they tend to insult their new love interest very early on it’s a tactic to see how they respond and if they’re vulnerable to their manipulation.
I think that joey did this with Grace when he said he was open and transparent and wouldn’t take Jessie to the terrace then almost immediately he did the opposite this was a test to see how far he could push Grace .
Joey also did this with Jessie eg his mean comments after she chose him then switching to nice and taking her to the terrace.
Both the girls should team up and not play divide and conquer they should pull him together and tell him it’s game over and keep their dignity because men like joey can only play with women that allow it.
