Honestly, I’m not sure any of the other girls would’ve dealt with it any better if they were in the same position.

The other girls have cried over a LOT less.

It’s one thing being given the run around by Ronnie nobody from Essex, it’s another being completely humiliated by someone who is already in the public eye, on national TV - especially when you don’t yourself have the media training or coaching to be able to deal with such a situation.

Yeh we all saw Harriett screaming and crying at Ciaran in the first few days but the difference with that was Ciaran actually made a move on her (same with Ronnie). God love Samantha she’ll be better off home 😭

Exactly the producers have completely used Samantha and exploited her and sold it as entertainment obviously she’s is very fragile and low confidents I don’t even think they’ve given the contestants a proper psychiatric test
due to cut back within ITV
I think, what they have don This series is fundamentally wrong
Absolutely no duty of care
Why put a 30 year old man in with his bird and play with girls feelings like that

It’s completely turned into the Joey Essex show graces pretty but the way people are talking about her like she’s some top model is a little overhyped if she was of that calibre she would be on the runways of Paris Milan and New York and wouldn’t be begging it for low rent Joey Essex on Love Island

I do find the rekindling aspect of Joe and Grace a bit suss, it’s usually awkward with exes, but these two were all over each other from the get go. I’m inclined to believe they were in a relationship all along.

If so, I don’t like the way Samantha’s been used, poor girl. ITV have really got this wrong and it’s horrible “entertainment” either way.

My view too, his rep is well known he's been on so many of these types of shows. My anger is at the producers as he shouldn't be in there and it was all set up for Grace to come in. Samantha being coupled up with him was used knowingly by the producers for two weeks. Joey would have kissed her had he really been single (we know what he's like) and he didn't. WARNING. I agree the other girls cry for a bit of drama/airtime probably BUT Samantha seems unable to cope in there mentally imo.

I don’t know, with Joey being in the celebrity world and often getting in relationships with other celebs (like most celebs do), he has a reputation to uphold in a way, and he probably wouldn’t jump straight into kissing a non celeb straight away unless he was really sure. That’s IMO what he was doing and he obv wasn’t too keen on Samantha

Not the yearly suicide klaxon pls 😭 Caroline didn’t want to be convicted of domestic violence, Mike was mentally ill and grieving the loss of his nan and Sophie had addiction/MH issues. Nothing to do with the show or what happened on it

feel for Sam and I quite like her but she’s not going to go and top herself, she’s overdramatic and she’ll be with a new lad next week and you’ll look like a tit for even mentioning suicide.
 
This girl did a hot take on TikTok and tbh I completely agree with her, I feel like the signs were there and Samantha’s obsession with J.E just overtook her common sense!

I feel like Joey has been really respectful for weeks, only recently considering going with someone else which of course he’s gonna reignite the spark when it never died as he was with Grace previously - and when he went to try and find Samantha to talk (you could see he genuinely was trying to find her on a few occasions) she later on gave him the cold shoulder and understandably wanted to stay on the day bed but kept spouting shite about not ‘being arsed’ etc etc etc - she’s shown she’s incapable of communicating properly and unfortunately is really emotionally immature - Joey’s the opposite, he’s overly honest, always wants to tell her what’s going on and respect her etc (apart from the hideaway thing, I will say) and unfortunately he never got that back from Samantha - I feel like he’s over 30, has had life experiences and relationships and has matured whereas unfortunately she’s just the opposite - she was always immature and kicking off during games and being really jealous depsite them only being together for like two days. You could see that Joey always rose above it and tried to bite his tongue but each time it put him off more and more - her then kicking her toys out the pram and staying in the day bed saying she’s not arsed etc etc was probably the nail in the coffin that confirmed how immature she is! Nobodys blaming her for being upset, anyone would be in her position, but it’s just that their maturity levels aren’t compatible and I think Joey knew that ages ago but was being nice and giving her the benefit of the doubt
Now someone he truly liked has come back in, obviously flames are going to ignite big time and he’s gonna feel the same chemistry he did with Grace as before!

The only thing Joey’s done that I don’t agree with is staying in the hideaway last night with Grace, I think it’s just a bit insensitive - yes he barely knows Samantha at this point but it’s just giving someone the level of respect and caring at least about their feelings
