When did they say it wasn’t a friendship couple as they never kissed, never cuddled in bed and never had any pda? It was literally 2 weeks and if a fit looking male bombshell had come in that she fancied she would have dumped Joey!

To me a friendship couple is if you’re forced together like Lola and Harry and you both know it’s not going anywhere.
Joey definitely did not at any point make it clear to her it was a friendship couple

Nahhh I don’t agree, they were cuddling holding hands etc not getting to know anyone else. If you’re a friendship couple both members of the couple needs to be aware of that and Sam definitely was not aware 😂

It doesn't go without saying though. It needs to be said and made clear. A friendship couple is where people have to couple up to save their friend from leaving, or when the last two people left at a recoupling have no other option. Joey came in and chose Samantha. He never once said to her that they were a friendship couple. He only started saying that when Grace came in - and he said it to everyone but Samantha.

But he did keep saying they were open. If there’s no kissing etc going on then it’s not a couple. She saw the signs and ignored them because he was Joey Essex. She’s boring how much she has milked it since she got dumped.

They weren’t cuddling as she’s said herself she asked him why he didn’t cuddle her in bed and he said well you don’t cuddle me either. It was more than obvious he wasn’t into her but she stuck with him because she wanted his lifestyle !

Did they? I remember that boring date when the girls told her not to mention TOWIE and they had a brief peck after they got up from the table. It was also more than obvious that he didn’t see them going anywhere and she knew it as you could see by the look on her face.

What difference does it make? It was clear for everyone on here at the time that he wasn’t into her. People are now backtracking because they hate Joey.

Samantha is definitely just gutted she missed out on being Mrs Reality TV! She was obsessed with him being Joey Essex and the thought of everything that it might bring to the influencer table. She moaned he wasn't affectionate and that he wasn't sticking it on her.... that should have told her everything she needed to know.

I'm not sure I think Joey & Jessy will work, but that will be on him. At least Jessy seems actually interested in Joey as a person. In the start I thought Joey was in there for love, he doesn't need the prize money that's for sure but he's definitely made a tit of himself. He's come across as a bit of a narc.

Have you seen her in the morning without make-up? she's completely destroyed her face with botox and looks ten years older... it's really not a pretty sight. She was hardly fighting them off in the villa. She has an appalling attitude too and is extremely unpleasant.

The girl is coming across unhinged but I think the reason she won’t drop it is because she feels disrespected not because she’s in love with the man.

She can do way better than that knobhead. But she probably won’t now because she repeatedly makes herself look mental on national TV. 😂😂

Can’t wait to see her on celebs go dating next year.

I agree that she has ruined her face with the fillers. You can tell she was very pretty at one point but then did what a lot of people do once they start with fillers and that is go too far. I think she still looks ok but has just overdone it.

It's probably just to stay relevant! She had a lot of support when she came out by people saying Joey did her dirty but now that the weeks have passed the support has probably died down as more people left the villa and this is her chance to get the support back again.

I fully expect an EOTB return for Joey and for Samantha to wash up as the ex... in about 5 years when she's still not over it.

I do agree though, she's probably embarrassed at how she was treat on TV but unfortunately for her Joey doesn't care and the more she tries to make him understand how she feels, the crazier she looks.

Yeah I expected after being outside of the villa for so long she would have gained some perspective, composed herself and gone in showing him that she didn’t care and laughed at how pathetic and childish he is.

She saw how Grace dealt with it in the villa and the support that she had since (and let’s face it, Grace would have been well within her rights to go absolutely boogaloo on him since they actually had a connection)

Samantha was in there for 2 weeks and it was pretty obvious that he wasn’t fussed about her, the fact that she is still milking it shows she is either completely delusional and should seek help or she is trying to stay relevant.

Personally opening nightclubs and flogging anti bloat pills would not be enough to make me sacrifice my dignity….

two weeks in there must feel like two months so I get the over whelming feelings they all get especially as they all live together
But she’s been out of the villa around six weeks now where she’s had time to reflect compose and get over the situation so to come in all guns blazing when he blatantly doesn’t care makes her look delulu. If that was me I’d of given him the first dig and then sit down and let it move on he knew she’d pick him and that was enough.
I do agree without saying it it was obvious it was a friendship couple there was no affection and she knew that, after the day it was literally a peck which felt a bit awkward to watch and it was clear they were friends in joeys eyes but she was smitten, her pride has been hit hard which can’t be nice but she’s had so much time to get over it

unpopular opinion I know he’s been a dick but I can’t help but like joey. For me he came in went with Samantha that didn’t work and went with Grace and when he moved to Jessy I thought typical player, but he defied the odds and stuck with her leading me to believe even though it’s obvious Grace has got under his knuckles he knows jessy is more his type and their connection is so genuine. Unfort in love island you have to be a tad bit selfish to get what you want and prepared for the back lash when you go with your heart

I think Mimii is nice but she’s easily the most overrated islander at this point and gets credit for the bare minimum. She was being sly with Ayo both times she was trying to win him back with Uma and Jess. I mean she’s more than entitled to be but she should be owning it - the fact that she’s managed to change the narrative to it being Ayo who was chasing her around is almost admirable.
