Noticed Jama only 3m on insta. Considering she's been in the game a decade+, has a high-profile partner, had a serious relationship with an NBA superstar and isn't sly when it comes to a thirst snap I thought she'd be approaching the eight-figure club. She bare competes with Maura. Not in the same stratosphere as Molly Mae.

On the whole, clear Jama's cross-platform appeal is overstated. I get her stans love it. However, superstans aren't the force ITV think they are.

Did you really say “only 3m” 🤣🤣 Maura and Molly Mae are influencers from LI. Maya has had a self-made broadcasting/DJ/entertainment career spanning over a decade - despite being from a single-parent household (and her mum was only 19 when she had her!) with her dad in prison for most of her childhood. Not even remotely comparable to ex LI contestants…
I’m not a Maya “stan” but she is such a respectable woman!

I was thinking about this earlier, and seen as someone else has mentioned her. I wonder if we’ll ever see the likes of Molly Mae level of fame on Love Island again.

She really did the show at the right time, and made the right deals to sky rocket. She’s on a completely different level to these wannabes who go to the same parties with the same people and need to do cringe sponsorships
