Lucas definitely the one with the most personality and appears to be the one leading the most conversations “boys chats” - to me anyway. Davide might be the oldest and objectively maybe the best looking but has the personality of a mop x
I think Gemma, and maybe Tasha to some degree, is calculating what boys will be garnering the most screen time and who will be coming off the best in the public eye and stick on to them to be in the best chance of making it far or winning…

Personally I feel Luca is bad vibes but if I were looking at it from an “inside the villa” perspective I think that’s why he’s getting the most attention from the girls 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
I don't mind Gemma. Yes, she's immature because she's only 19 and has had a sheltered adult life having been in lock down for the past couple of years. She'll relax a bit and become more likeable I think.

Davidae is definitely from Bradford! No way is he Italian.

Luca is a walking hard-on

Ekin-Su is a pick me. I'm not a fan and as someone else said, I don't think she'll be in long.

I'm not sure where the Luca and Gemma thing came from. Was it not the same day he was saying he wanted to rip ES's clothes off and telling Paige she had nothing to worry about 🙄 He needs a good wank and then he might be able to think clearly 😂

And although she is Michael Owen’s daughter and obviously that would have been a big pull for the producers, she is an influencer too, and she is a champion dressage competitor.

Arguably by not saying she’s played a blinder. It’s Friday and we’re still all talking about if she will tell them or not… so she’s still getting the press and the talk on SM.

Obviously can’t disagree with that, she’s the talk of this thread for instance. I do think she needs some kind of ‘reminder’ (for want of a better word) about how unpopular she is presently with the viewers, she won’t have a clue being stuck inside the bubble. How she behaves is obviously within her own remit but I don’t think this will do any harm, Amber in Series 3 at one point was voted ‘least popular girl’ by the public, she turned herself around and won that series with Kem. A little knowledge isn’t always a dangerous thing.

Yeah, I think she’s too young to be on the show tbh, because everyone is just that much more mature than she is.

She’s the oldest of 4 kids, and I imagine she’s used to thinking she’s older than she is. But in reality she’s still a teenager.

I think if she stays in and if she calms down a bit and lets her guard down a bit she’ll come across a lot better.

Growing up as a kid in North Wales he was as big as David Beckham, not into football at all but they were the two that I knew of :LOL:
 
Michael Owen was huge, huge star. Footballing prodigy was scoring goals for Liverpool at about 17. Made his England debut at 18 in the 1998 World Cup and scored on his first appearance, was a house hold name after that. He’s still I think the youngest person to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Not to mention he was a teen pin up as well. I think people are down playing his fame here, he wasn’t in Beckham’s league but wasn’t a fame bleep like he was either but still huge house hold name star.

Yes that’s true .. ‘quite’ famous is about right, you have to be a rugby fan. Same criteria applies to Michael Owen (substituting football for rugby of course😀)

Michael Owen, Alan Sheerer, David Beckham and Wayne Rooney are probably the only footballers I can name from my childhood/teenage years.

They were famous to the equivalent of Marcus Rashford now.

I’m 30, so older than the people in the villa but I would be surprised if none of them knew who he is.
 
I think Gemma wants it to come out she’s michael’s daughter with all the hints but doesn’t want to be the one to bring it up first,not sure I would want it to come out yet really you would never know if the person was with you for just that

She’s a bit much Isn’t she. She needs to cook it. I thought men liked a challenge not someone throwing themselves at you. For davide feel like the novelty will wear off of her cooking him breakfast
 
I’m sorry, I know this thread is LI 2022… but I am LIVING for S3. Watched 4 episodes straight today already. They actually talk to each other, have a laugh, don’t get territorial over people they’ve known for 5 mins. None of them take themselves too seriously and CF is amazing. I’m sad that I’ve now spoilt current LI for myself… but clearly still going to watch 🤣

She’s literally not mentioned it. She can’t help who her Dad is, in the same way I can’t help who my Dad is.

I think she wants to be known as her own person. She’s successful in dressage in her own right, and I reckon she just doesn’t want to be know as “Michael Owen’s Daughter”.

she hasn’t said outright but she’s tiptoed around it.

she’s brought up several times that she’s got big family values… why? What does that even mean? She enjoys spending time with the people she’s related to? How is that a moral value? And she quizzed David about him living away from his family. It felt like a ploy to talk about her family without specifically mentioning her father.

same as with her conversation with Luca. She tiptoes around it and looks as though she might just be about to mention who her dad is… but then doesn’t.

I get the sense this is the producers manipulations more than Gemma though. I think she’d happily not mention it at all, but she’s being prodded into approaching the topic. I think they are goading her to talk about her family to tantalise viewers and possibly the other islanders in the know. They definitely put Tasha up to make that big statement on her hearing.

It may be cultural. She’s from Turkish heritage right, which is predominantly Muslim and many Muslim women are devoted to their husbands and sons. I don’t think that she was trying to be a pick me.
