I'm confused about the Amber hate. She's definitely not my fave, but I thought she handled herself well with ES. I liked how she didn't lie to her and pretend everything was dandy, but also didn't raise her voice and make a big drama. Also respected how she dealt with it the next day.

Gemma has really grown on me as well. I respected her for standing up and saying what the others didn't. As the youngest there, by far, I respected her for doing that. I think her and Luca look great together, but he is so intense with her!

Probably the scenario envisaged by production but Gemma isn’t the type to play along with it; no idea how she feels about Luca, her face and body language are unreadable but if she’s not into Luca she won’t play that game, she values her self respect. I don’t really know why she picked this particular reality show, it’s not really the place for those with self respect

In the latest episode of Aftersun, Afia commented that Gemma and Luca are actually very loved up. I would probably take her words as she has stayed in the villa 24/7 for at least a few days and get to witness everything first-handed while what we get to see on the tv is some filtered and edited one-hour glimpse of the day

I do think amber was right telling ekin her opinion so didn’t lie and pretend things are fine. But I disagree that ekin is

Playing. She did go 0-50 and probably it’s been brewing for a while so she overreacted.
the girls sitting there not saying anything was bad. It came accross very gang up on ekin.

Why am I the only one who fails to see that ES “brings the drama” she crawled across the floor for a kiss then started crying when she was called out Other than that I can’t think of any stand out moments. Not that the others have been highly entertaining but I think she’s stuck on Jay now and thinks they are getting married, I can’t really see her bringing much more to the table.

The eye rolling jars me. If she kept to her moody one liners (some have been funny) without the eye rolling and being off with Dami she would be more likeable.

True but I think at this point she should be telling him she’s not feeling it. There seems to be a lot of that this series though, no one seems to be being honest and just stuck like glue to people they don’t like. Like what someone said few comments back about Dami not being straight with Ikenna, in the past people have said i’m gonna crack on with so and so but wanted to get your thoughts first. They don’t always like it but that’s the nature of the game.

I think Gemma is definitely more guarded but she's had to be - her Dad was a very well known footballer for big teams including England so they'll be well off for one, and I bet she's had a few Faux friend/BF types try milking her for it before. No doubt will happen in LI aswell.

I was also a huge Owen fan definitely still have a shirt with Owen on the back (Liverpool obvs) and remember her being born though so old lol

Haha I feel your pain, Michael Owen was my first crush and the reason I started supporting Liverpool in the first place, makes me feel so old because I remember when she was born!

I am still unsure of Gemma, I think part of the way she is coming across is definitely because of her dad. I’m sure she has a lot more personality than what we are actually seeing.

I can see Jay persuading the boys to dump ES because we can all see how he feels about her now. Plus all the drama she’s brought recently and the narrative about how the other girls don’t like her - that will be enough for the boys to dump her. We all know she’s got Davide’s vote! The boys won’t dump Amber because she’s an OG and they’re all good mates with her.

The girls might dump Jay because they know him the least and that’s how they usually decide (which is a bit of a cop out if you ask me). Or maybe Ikenna?

I think Tasha should go and ikenna. I would say amber to go over Tasha but I want some drama when Dami and indiyah couple up. Andrew is quite sweet and I think he could bring something with the right girl. All in all though I don’t really like any of them this year

Paige has got such a good bum I’ve noticed it a couple of times now. Wonder if it’s natural or a bbl? Really liked her but I think she might have a mean streak that could start to show. Also drives me mad how she keeps doing those little laughs constantly when she’s with Jacques. She is a smitten kitten!
