Can’t think of any time. Usually the public votes and then the rest of the islanders save or send one boy one girl

It is very clear why they are considering the public votes rather than letting the islanders decide who is going. If it was the islanders it would have been Ekin Su leaving, but producers obviously don't want her gone. Otherwise they would have let the islanders decide.

nah the islanders always keep the ones who are loved up in their couple. So Amber and ikenna would have been going for sure if the islanders voted.

If Amber goes then they might show her footage of Dami and Indiya during Aftersun and get her live reaction to it which could be interesting.

I think Jay might be gone because he's new and if he and E-S were both bottom 3 then people must not be that interested in them as a couple.
