Whew the lowkey victim blaming on this thread tonight is not it. FYI, it’s not Gemma’s responsibility at 19 years of age to be a “role model” to people watching, I don’t care what anyone says. She’s one of the youngest contestants to ever appear on the show and I think she’s done pretty bleeping well in dealing with Luca most of the time, especially if you take into account that she’s still learning and growing herself. It’s alright saying she’s just staying with him to win but in my opinion I don’t think she gives af about that, the girl has basically been a millionaire since the day she came out the womb ffs.
How did he think leaving her in charge of his socials was ok The girl is insaneI'd have disowned my Brother by now. Luckily mine isn't a total bleep. He's not amazing but he's not a bleep.
He could punch her in the face and she'd have an excuse for him...How did he think leaving her in charge of his socials was ok The girl is insane
I guess my point is that your post seems to highlight a positive in someone winning money from that sort of controlling situation, or being able to live off family money as being positive. We need more young women to know their worth and work hard and earn their own coin without becoming subservient x
I feel like with some of the comments in here, and the content of the show… there is only one appropriate Love Island throw back:
Yes he keeps bringing it up in a sly manner and clearly doesn’t respect her boundaryLuca is also raging that he hasnt been allowed to make it 'official' or 'exclusive' with Gemma and his anger is partly stemming from that too i reckon.
If this is deemed entertainment, I'd rather it wasn't on TV. Yes I get the whole "don't like it dont watch it" but young people do..and judging from comments on SM they think this is OK. Its not and never will be OKGenuine question so I hope no one gets offended.
Why the complaints to ofcom? I’m wondering what they achieve?
I hope everyone can see how awful Luca is acting, Gemma included.
I agree he should be called out, however I don’t see this as an ofcom complaint issue? Unless I don’t understand their rules of course.
If they get too many complaints would they take the show off air? And therefore taking away the whole show for all of our entertainment
I think she wants to shag her brother, it’s not normal behaviorI'd have disowned my Brother by now. Luckily mine isn't a total bleep. He's not amazing but he's not a bleep.
It really isn't. Even down to the freaking out about him potentially moving away. My brothers moved away. Do I care? No. I hope he's having a lovely time lolI think she wants to shag her brother, it’s not normal behavior
I think it’s because some people have the view she should be supporting a black coupleWhy are people blaming kaz from last year on twitter ? Something about how she voted for tasha and andrew and not dami and indiyah ?
Because ITV has a duty of care to all the contestants and they should be handling abusive/toxic situations better, if not removing them entirely. This show doesn't NEED this kind of behaviour for the dating competition format to function, so if ITV can't make it without platforming that behaviour and allowing other contestants to be subjected to it then yeah, ITV shouldn't be making this show anymore IMO.Genuine question so I hope no one gets offended.
