This isn't true though. She had consistently been bottom with Andrew but then wasn't bottom when she was with Billy. At that point her best chance of staying safe was staying with Billy, but she chose Andrew.

And this is what redeemed them both for me tbh. They weren’t in the bottom when they weren’t together but still decided to get back together, and stuck together even when they were in the bottom.

I would much rather they won over Gemma and Luca.

Ok here me out… after hearing from all the ex islanders I wonder if Gemma did want to end it tonight but because there was dumping the producers told them it can’t happen, so tomorrow’s episode might see them leaving I can only hope!!
But then again do we want Luca to leave before final as that would actually benefit him, look at jacques all forgotten and he got to put his sob story out whereas after final no one cares about peoples stories it’s all what they are getting up to and Luca will be forever known as a controlling gaslighting bleep!

She was bottom with Andrew because people didn’t like her and her antics, it’s just people dislike Luca and Dami more right now(not unwarranted in my opinion- both are dicks). But one minute she asking what love feels like, then crying to Billy. The girl is as fake as they come.

The producers have shown less of her and Andrew and that helped viewers forget all the tantrums, the sly behaviour and the neediness. Also Dami and Luca are dicks

I think this could be it. Producers might be trying to convince her to stay another few days just to try and give them a more producer ending. At this point everyone would be tuning into see luca get binned off so I think they want it dragged out.

elements of this episode felt oddly produced though so I don’t know…
