I reckon the producers of the show are realizing it’s super shite this year and they try to inject some ‘fun’ into it.

Too little too late; the format is tired and most of the contestants are either arseholes, or fake, or both.

Not to mention the presenter has no charisma, the show needs a major shake up next year, if it even takes place….

Using something like this to grab votes for a reality show is disgusting. I feel grubby just reading that his sister shared it. Also, it's not even about Luca so why share it? Just because his parents did something nice, doesn't necessarily mean Luca would do the same. Eurgh, I hate that someone would use grief for something as shallow as LI 😔

I so agree with this.

This is the first year I have watched Love Island for a few years. Last time I watched when Maura, Curtis etc were in there.

It's just such a different show now. No humour really, no shocks, no real challenges or much variation in personalities and it's so predictable. I do actually think the presenter has more to do with that than we think.

I'm open to correction but Caroline seemed to visit the villa an awful lot more to deliver results, make announcements etc and it felt like more was happening. Now it is just left to the islanders to decide or to read it off their phone. I'm sure the public vote used to count for more.

It has just lost its warmth for me. It is really only stubbornness keeping me watching cause I want to see it through 😂🙈. This thread is also hilarious and has been my go to source of entertainment during this series.

She’s like that fuckin GOBSHITE last year, Priya was it ? Came in around this time with the terrifying fake eyes lol.
She only came in to get a small influencer following and some friendships going with the girls. That Lacey couldn’t have fuckin SHAT herself anymore when Deji went to kiss her the witch. Trying to use him to last a week.

If you go back to Series 1 Caroline often presented the show from Majorca with a live audience. Great atmosphere and very hand in hand with what was being broadcast. Seems to me they cancelled that bit and used the money on Casa Amor instead. Just my theory.
