Who on earth is it?Is that Jaques and Rod Stewart?
I wanna say his mumWho on earth is it?
Its his Mam..saw pics on his Insta with herI wanna say his mum
But then again I wanna say his dad
But I think it’s his mum ….
Swear it's the art attack headIs that Jaques and Rod Stewart?
and when they were on the boys outing thing, they made a joke about it, and were all laughing, i forgot what exactly was said thoDon't forget Dami saying Luca was holding Gem hostage.
i remember tasha saying that they’re friends, and then he made a joke about being friend zoned, i think he asked what they were. this was way back at the beginningDid he sack Tasha off though? I can’t remember now. But one moment she was in his top three (but Andrew told her she wasn’t) and then the next moment he’s got Gemma in a head lock and he’s not letting go.
I always thought he naturally fancied Tasha more but as soon as he found out who Gemma’s dad was, he pivoted and made sure he locked it down asap.
He’s mean to Tasha because he’s always still fancied her. And because he has the emotional maturity of an 8 year old.
I remember someone once said the cheesecake was nice.I saw Amy Hart do a video about the food and she said she put tons of weight on because their food is buffet style including pizza, chips, pasta etc.
I can’t believe that’s his mumIts his Mam..saw pics on his Insta with her
Yes think so.. actually hope so.Do we think there will be more bombshells this week? Probably the last before the finals?
Gemma and Adam’s convo that Luca walks in on!View attachment 1420220
Here’s a complete list of all the movie titles. Wonder what they’ll show for the Adam one?
I think very soon love island people will look back on love island like it now looks back at tv is the 70s.LI entertains this because they are problematic themselves, if Executive Produer Mike Spencer is anything to go by.
the producers are happy to watch Jacques’ misogny unfold, in fact, Mike Spencer (who has worked in Love Island for years) called Jacques “amazing”
When the tit hits the fan, they spin it as his choice to leave and as some sort of mental health story, essentially covering up for him. Mike Spencer has reiterated that Jacques leaving was a mental health issue - except, was it? I’d say it was very much his toxic and fragile masculinity that made it untenable for him to stay.
the producers are happy to showcase Lucas possessiveness and gaslighting, his anger issues and snide remarks (usually aimed at Ekin or Tasha).
the producers are happy for Ekin and Danica to endure some subtle bullying and double standards.
the producers have sat back and watched as Dami has lied and manipulated his way through the show, they’ve watched him exploit the power imbalance in the casa situation along with Jacques, with the girls in there.
the producers have worked with Shitmore to propagate the idea that something happened between Ekin and George for cheap drama, despite the fact Ekin - the number one creator of drama and entertainment on the show - has repeatedly and explicitly said, nothing happened.
the producers clearly have zero morals and probably huge misogynists themselves. Most of Lifted Entertainments production is male. Mike Spencer has referred to Adam as a “lovely guy”. Really?! REALLY?! The guy that could compete for Britain if gasligthing was an Olympic sport? The same guy who faced criticism from leading charities for his behaviour towards women? He’s a “lovely guy” ?!?!
no wonder Jacques and Luca are thriving on this show if Mike Spencer is reflective of the general production teams’ attitude.
Mike Spencer outright refuses to acknowledge toxic masculinity or that there is a possibility of there even being a problem. He thinks it ca be dismissed as “subjective” and that apparently having empower women cancels out any toxic masculinity. Except a woman being empowered has nothing to do with how toxic or misogynist a man is? And lots of “normal” relationships have elements of misogyny in them. It’s a widespread problem. Mike Spencer might as well come out and say “Jacques being sexist and dismissive, Luca being possessive… it’s just normal. As besides, the girls are empowered and they can take it.” He literally normalises misogyny;
“I think it’s incredibly subjective,” Spencer says. “Everyone has different interpretations of behavioral traits. I think the program showcases normal relationships. There are also very empowered women on the show.”
The charity Women’s Aid has raised concerns multiple times about Collard’s antics, but Spencer believes the term ‘toxic masculinity’ goes too far when it comes to Love Island.
“I would be cautious about using a phrase like toxic masculinity. We showcase real relationships and real people, which is why the show is relatable. There are ups and downs in every relationship. We care for our Islanders and make sure they are protected. I wouldn’t want to bandy about a term like toxic masculinity which is so serious when globally there are people going through very extreme things in their relationships.”
‘Love Island’ Producer Mike Spencer & Narrator Iain Stirling Discuss Jacques O’Neill’s Emotional Exit, Concerns Over ‘Toxic Masculinity’, How The Show Is Put Together & Which Couples Could Go All The Way
EXCLUSIVE (& SPOILER ALERT for those in US and other territories behind the UK transmission): ITV’s popular reality TV game show Love Island is in the spotlight once again. The polarizing dating program, back on UK screens for an eighth season, remains appointment viewing for its many fans. For...www.yahoo.com
It definitely seems like jacques and his mum are readying themselves for a long drawn out campaign to end love island.
Defo be bombshells this wk..sure Greg O'Shea came in with 2 weeks to final & won!!Dont care who they are once they stay away from Ekin & DavideYes think so.. actually hope so.
Let’s have two, an older fit guy for Ekin Sue and a sultry South American beauty for Davide, let the games begin, we might struck lucky and get to see an adult version of Four in a Bed
id really hate to be a bombshell -especially in the last few weeks, cause chances are no one is turning and you get dumped at the next recoupling, like i’d just hate being a “failed” bombshell. same with being a casa reject where you might not even get screen time, and no one ever remembers the casa rejects. also i’ve noticed whenever there’s two bombshells, one of them always does really well and the other doesn’t: ekin and afia, maura and elma, jay and remi, the twins from season 6. but it would also be nice to come in with someone. i think the best position would be, being an og. it’s just easiest and you have the islanders loyalty
Agree with all this..but Greg O'Shea did well as a bombshell in it 2 wks at end & wonid really hate to be a bombshell -especially in the last few weeks, cause chances are no one is turning and you get dumped at the next recoupling, like i’d just hate being a “failed” bombshell. same with being a casa reject where you might not even get screen time, and no one ever remembers the casa rejects. also i’ve noticed whenever there’s two bombshells, one of them always does really well and the other doesn’t: ekin and afia, maura and elma, jay and remi, the twins from season 6. but it would also be nice to come in with someone. i think the best position would be, being an og. it’s just easiest and you have the islanders loyalty
