idk if anyone's seen sound of metal but this is basically what it sounds like for tasha




i'm not a massive fan of tasha but her dad is right to point out how everyone insulting tasha has to come for her voice/deafness (not on tattle but twitter, tiktok etc.) rather than how she acts on the show. there is a deaf journalist on twitter @liamodelluk who has been doing weekly threads on tasha responding to the ableist comments she's had that's worth checking out

whether you like her or not, it's gonna be so tit for her to come out the villa & see all that

100%, everyone was calling her out on it on Friday night and then she threw a hissy fit because they were being honest with her. I don’t like Luca but he was right on Friday. Yes people go in for their careers but I don’t think anyone has ever openly admitted that😂 she made it quite clear on Friday that she wasn’t in there for Andrew after asking him to be her boyfriend and all the islanders copped it
 
Tasha is personally ruining the show for a lot of people, we were excited for movie night and instead we got 30 minutes of her crying and whining.

I’m not sure there has ever been a couple who has been voted in the bottom so much yet survived.

She needs to go and then producers need to do as many vote offs as possible to get her out

I don’t think you can personally blame Tasha for the fact the producers decided to show that.

When you look at Unseen, they have a lot of other content they could show that’s funny and lighthearted but the editors decided to show that instead. Tasha didn’t have a say.

I also don’t like Tasha, I think she’s incredibly annoying and I think she quite immature. Clearly doesn’t know what she wants. But I do think people should be talking about her actions not her voice. So many people online are taking the piss out of the way she speaks and I think it’s really harsh. She can’t help it.
 
I had zero sympathy for Jacques when he cried (I made it clear how I felt about him) and I have zero sympathy for Tasha when she cries. It’s so lazy to jump straight to sexism being the reason a woman is disliked on LI.

And Tasha is a woman btw; she’s 23 not a little girl. Maybe it’s because she presents as much younger - the crying, storming off etc - that some people would want to infantilise her and make excuses for her behaviour. Jacques was also 23 and I sure as duck don’t think he’s too young to be held accountable for his actions.

Would it be terrible if the contestants were asked to bear in mind tashas hearing loss, and try to make sure they faced her when speaking, etc? I know we do this for a colleague at work and it becomes second nature. I can understand tasha not wanting people to make a fuss but if her dad is saying it's tiring for her, causing her to cry, maybe she should have asked for this?

I need to rewatch Friday's episode because I can't remember it 🥂😂 so you're probably right. I'm starting to feel like Tasha needs to leave for her own good anyway, someone who is that sensitive to other people's opinions shouldn't be taking part in what is essentially a televised popularity contest.

I agree with ya there. It is harsh, she can’t help that and that’s fair enough. People taking the piss outta that - it isn’t nice. And yeah when she comes out she’s gonna find it tough seeing all that but when you open yourself up to these shows, I suppose you also have to accept that not everyone is going to like you and you are going to get trolled. That’s something that I suppose you have to be aware of going into things like this.

Agreed. I think people should think a little bit more before they go on these shows. If you are someone who is sensitive and you really do care what people think of you, you should be running a mile about going on a show like LI.

People are too obsessed with wanting to be famous and have an insta life that they don’t think about the consequences

.. emm it’s not exactly Tasha’s fault she was the main feature of Movie Night, she’s not the one who’s in control of what footage we see ,,, but yes I do think they should both go, apparently they’ve found love so why not just up and out🤫
The Tasha’s of this world are just not equipped for Love Island .. do we reckon her dad accompanied her to the interviews and tests 😉

people are fully aware of the attention and comments from people that love island brings if they want an influencer career so she needs to deal with it

She can quite easily leave love island and have a normal job and non influencer career but she won’t she will be acting thirsty at london nightclubs with bottles and sparklers within a week

When I think about my 23 year old self she would have wanted to and tried her best to get on the show .. fortunately MY dad though not exactly stopping me would have made me have a good think about it.
 
Faye and Tasha for me are two completely different types of people. Faye was a loud mouth obnoxious prick who was actually violent and scary😂😂😂😂
For me Tasha is just so up her own ass she can’t see light. She thinks she’s a sassy witch but all she does is yap 😂 I don’t really think we can compare the two characters as I do think they’re very different
 
I bet Jacques can’t believe his luck that he has been handed a get out of jail free card with this ADHD excuse. I am so sick of hearing him use it as a reason for acting like a complete and utter asshole in the villa. He couldn’t handle Adam coming in stealing his woman even though he spent the last week playing two women off one another, and he folded like paper at the mere thought that someone might do to him what he happily did to Paige the week before. Can he just shut the duck up now using ADHD as an excuse for being an idiot.
 
Oh come ON they all go on here to make quick easy money and not have to get a 9-5 job - they’ve seen reality tv before they see how brutal Twitter can be to people and they made the choice to put their self out there.
I don’t have sympathy for Tasha or jacques or any of them actually, no one has forced them into this situation they all went willingly.

They both just treat their men like crap.

The funniest thing from Movie Night was how they increased the speed of popcorn eating the more annoyed they got.
