So while I’ve been sat repulsed by Luca’s behaviour I decided to do some digging on his sister. She’s running his account, speaking about him to the MSM and is contacting people on behalf of Luca who are associated with Love Island, AKA the shows stylist. She’s clearly pushing and promoting Luca like her life depends on it. I really am starting to think that there’s some sort of arrangement in place between love island and luca for Gemma to put up with this behaviour.
Luca’s sister’s name is Claudia Bish, and according to news reports she lives in Brighton and is older than Luca. He follows someone called ClaudiaRosa who looks the same as the selfie his sister posted on his account. So it’s probably safe to assume Luca’s sister is the same Claudia Rosa Bish who appears on companies house, with a Brighton address and a birth date of June 1995, making her three years older than Luca. The address under companies house also has company “MCB Seafoods” registered to it, so that’s obviously Luca’s family fish business. The insta account for MCB seafood has a picture of Luca on its grid.
this individual (Claudia Rosa Bish) is a director for three companies;
1. “Influencer overnight ltd”
2. “Tba publishing house ltd”
3. “The blogger agent ltd”
Number 3, the blogger agent ltd is the oldest of the companies, set up in 2015 and is listed as an advertising agency. I think it’s fair to assume that the company website is the blogger agent.co.U.K.
as the name suggests, the website refers to the company as a talent agency. Among its clients, makeup Revolution (more on that later). It seems to collab with brands on their influencer marketing. One such influencer they have on their insta grid… Sophie Floyd, Luca’s ex. It looks as though Sophie collaborated on a “good apple” foundation brand in March 2021, so obviously she’s signed to the company (or was). The account is also following Jazmine, the not so lucky Casa Amour girl, Jacques Paige etc. Paige actually follows this company back as well, as does Shannon Singh from a previous season.
number 2 is “Tba publishing house ltd”. It’s listed as a book publishing company. I’m guessing it was created to exist alongside the blogger agent, hence “Tba” and perhaps facilitate influencer book deals. More specifically, it was probably created in conjunction with this particular book;
Shop the Influencer Overnight Book by Revolution Pro. This book is a must-have for anyone wanting to kickstart their new career with quotes from your favourite influencers to daily exercises to help you manifest your dreams.
www.revolutionbeauty.com
number 1 is “influencer overnight ltd”. This one is interesting because it’s the only one that Claudia isn’t sole director of. The other directors are individuals named Thomas Donald Allsworth and Adam Nicholas Minto. it’s listed as a management consultancy.
what’s interesting is that the registered address is for makep Revolution warehouse. If you google it, and go to map images, you can clearly see the address is a warehouse with the Revolution brand name. Allsworth and Minto are both directors for Makeup Revolution. It looks as though this company is a collaboration between Claudia and Revolution to release a makeup line and book called “influencer overnight”. If you google it, you can see the makeup collection was launched in January 2022.
Makeup Revolution have close ties to love island, they’ve partnered with them on collections and I’m sure the islanders use MUR products in the villa (you can see some of the products placed conveniently on the dressing room shelves). Lucie staffers is “head of brand licensing ITV studies” and realeased a statement this year on being “excited to partner up with Revolution Beauty and are thrilled that Love Island Fans all over the world will be able to recreate the looks of the islanders”
Minto and Allsworthy aren’t small fry. They’ve a long career history in cosmetics, and what’s interesting is that Revolution is known for leveraging social media and influencers to promote its products.
so it looks like Claudia has an established, close relationship with Revolution and therefore by extension, to Love Island.
I fully believe that Luca has been managed by his sister and she has engineered a move onto love island for him. Being signed to a talent agency isn’t unusual for Love Island contestants, but there is a difference to being on the books and having a manager who is actively fighting your corner. There isn’t anything special, for example, about Molly Mae. The reason she is the star of love island as a show is because she was managed exceptionally well before and after being in the Villa. She has a close relationship with an established manager.
Luca is benefitting from something similar. His sister has an established career in “talent” management, to the extent she is in close business with two older, experienced executives, whose company is worth over £200million and floated on the stock exchange. These executives have an established business relationship with love island/ITV studios. I 100% believe they will have engineered it so Luca will make it to the final, and I reckon his sister will have developed strategies for him to adopt while inside the villa, what type of girl to go for and what sort of things to say/do to cement the relationship. I reckon she is in charge of a strategic outside of the villa. She is promoting him constantly on MSM, is active on his socials and is very actively spinning his negative behaviour into something positive. Like I mentioned before, she’s also reaching out to at least one associate of Love Island (the stylist).
I don’t know how much influence she will have on production. Currently Lifted Entertainment is in charge of Love Island. But I expect they will be aware that Luca has indirect links to a major brand partner, who are friendly with head office at ITV.
What I will say is, there doesn’t seem to be any association with Gemma. Either none exists prior to the villa or they’ve been careful to remove any association. But since Claudia hasn’t been careful with personal details online I’m inclined to believe the former. I don’t think Gemma/Luca knew about each other prior to entering the villa. I think he realised early on it was a good strategy to partner up with Gemma and she’s gone with the flow because she probably has it in her contract to win.
so TLDR Luca’s sister owns a talent agency that has strong links to other islanders, has strong links and a relationship with a Love Island business partner and is likely to be managing Luca professionally to help him win, with his latching onto Gemma a likely part of that strategy.
