Totally agree! It only further stigmatises us and isn't true in the slightest. Also just clocked that he has been diagnosed since he was 9, so he has had the knowledge and tools/support in place from a very young age that can help him compensate and cope with the challenges that ADHD presents. I on the other hand was diagnosed at the age of 24 (which is early compared to some people) but it meant that I've faced a lot of previously unexplained difficulties because I didn't have that understanding and support in place. Yet somehow I have never been a manipulative arsehole!?

Seems to me like his family just excuse and have enabled his shitty behaviour.
