Kind of joking, but actually yes ok winning couples do well, but it’s predictable and actually really boring, what do they bring to the table in an already saturated market of love island winners?

It’s not about the 50k that’s not what I’m talking about, it’s the shock etc of the twist at the end as think of the publicity he’d get from that?

Yes my comment was tongue in cheek but actually think about it, I’d be more interested in someone stealing the cash than just winning LI by coasting.

One year I think a couple will secretly agree for one of them to steal the money if they win. As you've kinda pointed out, that's the only twist we haven't seen yet throughout the whole history of the show, so the publicity would be huge!

Plus if they both play it right they could both gain way more than 25k from it. The person who steals can play it off as a strong, independent person getting revenge for however their partner betrayed them during the series. The person stolen from can build their insta-fame around being the one who made a mistake, faced the consequences, and learned a lesson. I can kinda see Ekin-Su and Davide hatching this sort of plan together just to watch the chaos

People absolutely love to fit celebs into this good/bad dichotomy so they will absolutely lap this up. The controversy would keep them both in the news forever, so the brand deals will keep rolling in.

Have I just planned my strategy for entering Love Island?

I think Jacques will recouple he’s the most competitive one in there and he will NOT want to be standing alone just in case Paige comes in with someone else and I think that’s part of the reason he started to make a mad dash towards one of the girls.
He also sees kissing these girls as getting a trophy and he couldn’t possibly let Davide, Dami and Andrew have a trophy when he doesn’t.

Isn’t it whichever one gets it in their envelope or something…so with Greg and Amber, Greg got given the option to steal or share because of something he opened beforehand. I don’t know why that one springs to mind more than others maybe because they hadn’t been together very long when they won and Ambers face was like no way?! Lol

Ugh I really didn't like him saying that. Men will a lot of the time interpret quieter women as more passive and gentler i.e. easier to control and basically they get to dictate things.
