Wow reading comments about cocos looks everywhere is so stupid to me, yes she has a unique look but everyone is calling out her features but at the end of the day she is almost guaranteed that villa stay and has had the most interest by the men in there I hope she has thick skin when she leaves, everyone is being ruthless

yeah I think saying she looks like a man etc is harsh I just think it’s ashame she’s done so much to her face as she looked like a normal pretty girl before. Each to their own but I feel she looked better before

even with a cold sore he’s sexier than Jacques, Andrew, Luca and Dami combined. He really does make them look like little boys. It reflects poorly on the women in the villa that they aren’t fighting over him tbh. Ekin Su was clever enough at least to make a play for him and now that hasn’t worked out, she’s gone for the next most intelligent/mature guy.

Fully agree with your interpretation of Jay 👏🏻 I feel like he’s actually nearly out of his depth and cheapening himself in hindsight by being on the show. Obviously he fancies himself and loves pulling good looking girls (I mean - do you get on Love Island if you don’t fit this criteria?!) but seems like the type of guy that deep down wants a girl with a bit of substance to her…someone intellectual and more of a natural model-type look than the fillers/extensions/Botox/fake boobs look. I don’t know if he’s gonna find his true love in the villa somehow 😂 he seems more like the type of guy that would be going out with a posh Made in Chelsea type of girl to me!!

I completely agree with this. He wanted her in the beginning but was put off when he saw her kissing Andrew. Then he suddenly decided that he and Gemma were made for each other after one, short conversation, coincidentally at the same time they presumably had talked about Gemma being Michael Owen’s daughter. People with celebrity links always tend to do well on Love Island and he will surely have known this.

More than any previous year, all the contestants seem fully aware of the cameras, the public voting and possible outcomes. I’ve never seen that shown so much in previous series. It’s to be expected in season 8 I guess.

Exactly! It feels like Dami wanted to win the argument so much that he had to dig up tit and dirt in the past-i.e. Luca holding Gemma hostage, which is totally irrelevant to the current situation or the fact that Luca was egging him on, which is so petty and low.
I mean we all agree and joked about Gemma often being held hostage in the villa but why bringing this up out of the blue? I couldn't follow their line of argument except that Dami was just trying to deflect it and turned it on Luca

I really disliked Jay at first, but tbh he’s not playing a game any more than any of the others are, is he? As I’ve said before, he’s quite a disagreeable person who doesn’t like drama and he gets visibly annoyed when people are having childish arguments. He reminds me of my ex in character actually. But I also can’t imagine him being very empathetic towards a partner - he has a disconnect there. As you correctly say though, none of that makes him a terrible person, in fact. He’d be fine with a woman who has a compatible personality, I think.

none of them are genuinely interested in her though.

davide was practically cornered into kissing her. He said he didn’t want to initially and she goaded him into it by calling him scared.

Andrew is cracking on with her out of wounded ego, not out of a genuine attraction. He wasn’t even slightly annoyed when Davide kissed her. If you genuinely like someone, you’re gutted to see them get with someone else. For Andrew it was like claiming a piece of property rather than exploring an actual connection.

her looks are meh and her personality is worse. She’s done nothing but trash the other girls, especially Tasha. There’s no need to constantly bring her up and put her down. And it’s no coincidence Coco was among the first to jump in and tell Andrew that Tasha was “settling”.

the new Girls are behaving desperate because they want to get into the villa and the boys’ egos are having a field day over it. If they were more mature coco wouldn’t be getting a look in.
