I don’t know how genuine Dear Ekin and Davide are in terms of a relationship but their chemistry is real. They’ll be knocking boots for sure and I’d quite like to see it actually 😂
Absolutely 😂🙌🏻

I literally just keep up with this thread but stopped watching days ago. I’ve struggled with the last few seasons (it’ll never be as good and authentic as S1-3 were sadly), they’re so manufactured and hardly any of the couples last - it’s like watching business deals be made.

i don’t think any of the following will stray: Luca, Gemma, Paige, Jacques, Tasha (if she does they’ll get back together, telling ya) , Andrew, Dami or Indiyah. Not because they all really like each other but because they want to follow the love island script for success with minor, manufactured hurdles and all the bloody teenagers and fiat500s and Facebook mums love it. Every year lately I’ve found myself hating the most popular ones who usually go on to win and I just cba anymore. A sad indictment on societies view of a healthy genuine relationship sometimes.

The arrogance of the most popular four is nauseating too. They haven’t demonstrated kindness, empathy and genuineness but teenagers are lapping it up. It’s giving me throwbacks to being at school with the popular kids who all coupled up just cause they felt that everyone else was beneath them :ROFLMAO:

You know I feel like these islanders won’t think straying is as much of a sure fire way to lose as other years have. Think of it this way, last year Liam strayed, Faye strayed, Toby strayed (prior casa but still) and Kaz and Tyler strayed and they all still did really well in the competition.

I think the fact contestants know the format now, seem to know what wins over the public really shows.

S1-S3 everything was newer. Contestants didnt know what was coming i.e most compatible votes, casa amor, most popular boy, most popular girl etc. They were much more likely to act upon their feelings without trying to second guess what was coming next and acting accordingly.

Also I think people are banking on or hoping for a career so hold themselves back so much more.

I still watch it every year but nothing can compare to those early years where people were much more authentically themselves. I also think contestants in s1 and s2 in particular were much more normal in terms of jobs they had, social media presence etc.

I suppose picking contestants already in the social media whirlwind though means that they are more exposed to trolling / shit talk. Also the life style.

Plucking someone from obscurity means more scrutiny on LI and ITV when it all goes to shit for them.

Hopefully, they'll freshen Casa up this year, have them separate for a week rather than 3 days and then a re-coupling with everyone left single getting dumped from the Island.

I can't stand the 'victim' hanging around, it's fine for a day or two but much better if Laura dishes out the one-way ticket back to Stansted.

Even worse the 'victim' always does well out of the show, they should be stripped of everything for being an idiot.

They need to bring the smoking area back and up the drinks limit to like 4.

I think ITV assume normal people won't bring in views, BUT THEY WILL. They will be less media trained and up for anything tbh

As you said, @Caffeine Fiend ITV don't want to be accountable or do any work hence why they rarely take application islanders and just shout.

It's suffering the same fate as Big Brother.

Everyone knows the format. They think they'll come in for a couple of weeks, have a pretend relationship, leave and get lots of work with appearances. You may even get lucky and get a deal with PLT, Dancing on Ice or a podcast.

I like Jay. He only went off ES cause of the constant drama, he's a simple man, it wasn't his thing.
He fancied Paige from the beginning, he said it when he first came in to Remi (I have been binge watching this season so only saw his entrance 3 days ago) and Paige was visibly disappointed when he didn't bring her for a date.
If you hate Jay for playing the game you need to hate everyone in there cause it's not just a dating show!!
Jay, Davide and Dami are the only fanciable men in there, the rest are just children! I hope Casa brings in more emotionally mature men.
if he doesn’t like drama why would he go for ekin in the first place and do all that sneaking around? and would he tell ekin the girls don’t like her?

Okay so I was a Luca fan at the beginning but he's pissing me off as well to the point he became unattractive. Him and Jax are ICKS. The facial expressions/ lads lad mentality. Yuk!

Tbf my enthusiasm levels are the same as Gemmas and I defo have the RBF as well. I get misunderstood all the time I.e. Can you even smile? Why are you so upset? Cheer up etc (if you've ever said this so someone who has an RBF then f you, you annoying prick 😂). I think she just takes it easy and is enjoying the ride. Genuinely think she's not bothered what happens 😂

I hope Dami and Indyah win. They deserve to and they seem genuine and cute together. Indyah is such a nice girl!

Second place Ekin and Davide - sorry but they are just meant for each other and make me laugh so much. I hope they will both stay loyal in casa - if they do they're guaranteed a win IMO.

Tasha and Andrew - I love that they are in the bottom 3 as this will make Tasha get in her head again and possibly crack in casa because her going back to Andrew has not made things better in the popularity contest. Honestly they should just leave tonight as they apparently found what they're there for so piss off now will you 😂

Paige is kinda a B and her fakeness is so obvious that it hurts.

Charlie will probably go as he isn't even friends with anyone there. He's just hoping for someone to come in and that's bad luck.

Though I really want Jay to go. He's unattractive and weird. Jumps from one girl to another, maybe Ekin was right about him playing it safe as in going to chat up the girl that's most likely to stay. I just don't like him in general getting bad vibes. Also I can't look at him and see the gross boob dance.

Damica and Antigoni are just meh. I rate Damica more because she is gorgeous and I feel sorry for her not finding a connection. The way she talks is defo like someone mentioned (she's making a business deal) lol! Antigoni is pretty but she's a bit confused or deluded. I don't think she had a connection there at all with anyone yet she seems to think she had. Girl is just manifesting i think.

What I want from casa:

Indyah and Dami loyal
Andrew loyal (boring guy) Tash stray
Gemma stray Luca stray (with a Gemma lookalike)
Davide and Ekin loyal 😍
Paige loyal and Jax stray (with some fit blonde or Gemma lookalike lol)

I think that's all the couples? Everyone else recouple.

I think he's keeping his options open for Casa Amore. He's not going to commit to Ekin Su till after that. He probably doesn't trust Ekin Sue to behave during Casa either
Yes very probably, but it’s gonna be a treat watching 😉
My big brother reference is just how well does Ekin Su “know herself”. I think she does, all too well, I can’t wait to see how she plays this one out, I can’t call it.

I just realised I’m going to miss Casa Amor tonight as I’m at a wedding today but planning on not staying out too late so I can be home in time with my fella coming home from work to watch it on record 👀😩
They probably won’t be going tonight anyway, they’ll most likely tease it at the end of tonight’s episode and then we’ll see them in Casa Amor on Sunday.

Ah yes I remember now! I wonder if Casa will be longer this year due to the show being 8 weeks long(I think they said it was anyway).
The show has always been 8 weeks long since Season 3, it’ll be the usual 3-4 days.
