I don’t think it’s fair to say Laura copies Caroline. The producers told Caroline to do that walk, and now they tell Laura to. They’d tell whoever presented it to do the same. I think it’s horrible the way people compare Laura to Caroline, especially considering they were close friends and it probably upsets her a lot.

I used to find it cringe when she’d dramatically make this big entrance into the villa, as if she was the star of the show and not old enough to be the mother of half the contestants. It was creepy seeing an almost 40 year old chat to 20 somethings on their dating life. Even creepier when you take into consideration how much of an age gap Caroline liked in her own relationships. I found it really uncomfortable viewing.

I don’t love Laura but a presenter doesn’t need to do much for this show; the cast are the stars of it who keep it interesting.

Just going by what was said by her mum. I do think Laura tries to hard and is just lacking something.
 
I totally get what people mean about Ekin seeming a bit older. I think some of it is her styling - she doesn't seem to dress similarly to some of the other women, her clothes come across more 'millenial' to me if that makes sense.

Also, fairly sure someone else has said this too ... does it annoy anyone else that they say "boy" and "girl" in the recoupling. "The boy/girl I want to couple up with .... " bleugh. They are all adults! It makes them sound like they're in school.

The entire format of the show is heteronormative, is just how they've built it - so would be tricky to adapt for different sexualities. Would everyone need to be bi for this to work?
